  1. Eh, I wouldn’t want this in the stock game. When all shapes can be achieved with one part there is not much challenge in building. As for mods, I’m pretty sure this already exists in procedural wings and procedural tanks.
  2. Here you go: http://i.imgur.com/M2fsKOz.jpg Its an incredible craft!
  3. The Swallow? You could have European and African versions... Nice craft, I espescially like the Pheonix.
  4. Ha! You think you can represent the glory of the Monolith... with this? FOOLS! "It's full of stars!" Making the most out of a lighting glitch.
  5. Why would I own a VR headset when I have a perfectly functioning screen, that doesn’t rotate my viewpoint depending on how I look at it? When you’re sitting at a screen, you don’t focus on the wall behind you, you focus on the screen. I see VR as little more than a gimmick. Doing some math, Ksp has about 1 million sales. 0.4% of steam owners have VR headsets. Let’s say another 0.1% buy VR headsets to try out ksp. Squad would only be catering to 5000 people with this feature. And they’re not even making any money off those 5000. Even so, I don’t think ksp would work very well at all with VR. Minute head shakes would make precise part placements in editor nearly impossible, and how are you going to right click things? TL;DR: I don’t think VR is worth development time or money for ksp.
  6. First of all, welcome to the forums! Here is the method I use: Divide the fuel capacity of your plane with the burn rate. (both are in the top right corner in the resource tab) This will give you the number of seconds your plane can fly for. Then times that number with your speed, and you will get the number of metres your plane can fly. Then divide that by a thousand and you get it in kilometres, and that’s your final number. Hope it helps!
  7. I think there is another thread similar to this topic. When I close I tend to just save what I’m doing, then press the windows button and close the program, so I don’t really need this, but it wouldn’t be a bad thing to have in the game.
  8. I’ve been doing it since I’ve downloaded ksp 3-4 years ago, and I’ve never noticed a negative effect. It would be pretty handy to have a button like that though, but I think it would be better to have an exit to windows (or whatever OS) on the Space Center back screen, I quite like the layout of the start screen.
  9. This is the best replica I’ve seen, and not just of SR-71s. It inspires to try another full scale replica other than my Hornet.
  10. I think he means make a logo or badge for the challenge. Correct me if I'm wrong @cratercracker? The challenge looks interesting, I have a Hornet replica which I might submit when it comes to 4th gen, but I'm not sure how it will do in FAR.
  11. I hardly ever close like that, most of the time I’ll just save the craft I’m working on, press windows button and click “close tab”.
  12. These puns are great. I’m going to note some down for use later.
  13. Wow, I didn’t know about that plane. Shame we ordered the F-35, we could have had a stealth fighter... maybe even by the end of the century.
  14. When you and your friend spend 5 hours creating a DnD like game focused around sci-fi spaceships instead of characters. One time after playing a FPS in which you can zoom in to aim, I was outside and saw a bird quite far away. Completely unconsciously I attempted to actuate muscles which weren’t actually there, trying to zoom in in real life. The end results was that I felt disoriented and highly amused, yet saddened at the same time.
  15. @Daedalus304 welcome to the forums!
  16. Ah, you’re using Big-S elevons. As far as I remember i was using the F4T-455 control surfaces on stock hinges, being actuated by HG-5 Antennas, but the antennas kept breaking.
  17. Wow that’s amazing! You totally nailed the weapon cargo bays, I once tried to make some and had to give up as I couldn’t get them to traverse the distance required. I’ll have to try this out.
  18. Wow, that looks great! Really nice aesthetic but seems quite functional with the doubled Mk2 cargo bays. If I could make a suggestion, could you put docking ports spaced along the bottom of the cargo bay so cargo containers can lock in? Wonder how it compares size-wise to this...
  19. Oh yeah, it would a great twist if she survived... (crippled) Val did survive a 80m/s car crash in one of the earlier chapters I think.
