  1. My favorite idea of a challenge (as of late) is an Orion style design, which is used for a Mun landing. More a design challenge, but does require skill.
  2. How do you do 'blueprints' like transparent images from the OP? All I get is shades of blue or weird inverted colors
  3. Yeah... Arcazon (the protagonist of my upcoming fic Find The Gap) is really sticking in my head, and I'm starting to like his character.
  4. Thank you all for the opportunity. After the last challenge is done, may I become part of the team for the new thread?
  5. Well, over a year, still nothing. @SQUAD? Anything on this?
  6. Five Nights at Freddy's. Despite the reasonably toxic community, I bought the whole bundle for NZ$8.99 recently. Pretty good value, interesting and scary with some creepy dark lore. I'm playing midway through the fifth game, where you are stuck in a room with a deactivated 'Freddy' robot and have to do maintanence. Definitely terrifying.
  7. I too have really enjoyed these challenges, and am sorry to see Alpha go. I've done challenges before, but these encouraged me to expand my horizons in game, and hone my skill. (Looking forward to Challenge Eight!) I myself would love to make some challenges along the vein of these, even possibly in this thread if I join the team so thanks for the inspiration!
  8. Posts like this strengthen my resolve to keep plugging on with my dream. @pTrevTrevs I only really knew you from your Curing a Burnout thread, but I loved the continuation of the thread and your great craft designs! Wishing you all the best!
  9. In heat related days, my 'Helioclipper' ion probe skimmed the Sun at an altitude of just under 325,000 km.
  10. Have you made a station before? If not I would recommend a static station like Salyut or Skylab, with a crew spacecraft to dock to it.
  11. Depends. Certain saves use a 'they're separate constructors' mentality, others use 'parts and sponsorship'.
  12. if you don't mind, I'd like to appear. Standard text for me, please, in Century Gothic font.
  13. I'd like to write some more KSP fan fiction... Unfortunately its a case of crippling under confidence for me- I'm not sure that anyone would read my stuff, let alone like it. I also have other projects and am a procrastination legend.
  14. That, I am not sure of. This is more akin to destroying the shoe in case the shoe actually has a GPS, giving away your location... Read up on the 'Dark Forest' intelligent life theory.
  15. Earth had been carelessly sending out radio signals for years now. All within 70 light years could hear. and they heard. oh god they heard- A MESSAGE: BE QUIET
  16. What if the proof that there is intelligent life somewhere, is simply the fact that they have never tried to contact us?
  17. Uh... Do high schoolers still count? (No qualifications, just dreams.)
  18. Here's a little brochure I made for the launchers in my save game, from Rokea Inc. I also have Steadler and Zaltonic launcher graphics in the works. Pichelka (Russian for 'little bee') is a cheap, small orbital launcher at under 5,000 funds, for launching the smallest of LKO sats. Komar (Russian for 'mosquito') is a more advanced and more powerful version of the Pichelka, for science satellites and the occasional Mun/Minmus probe. Zenitik is a smaller 2.5m laucher based on the Zenit, which can launch station components and heavier interplanetary probes to LKO. Zhostovo 5 (Zhostovo is a type of Russian folk art) is the launcher for the Zhostovo manned spacecraft, which is used as an LKO crew ferry between stations and such. Storonnik (Russian for 'upholder') is the largest launcher in Rokea's catalogue, and was used to place kerbonauts on the Mun. It now launches station core modules into Kerbin Orbit. Thanks for reading, hope you like my launchers!
  19. The land of jandals, number 8 wire and GUUUMBOOOOTS
  20. Too damn right. Its like they're another species and not simply a gender.
