  1. I have KSP installed on my work computer. I've played it a few times during lunch, but my work computer plays KSP so horrendously bad I don't bother anymore. I'm talking yellow clock most of the time in pure vanilla with the textures turned all the way down.
  2. I don't think there's any lightning on Minmus. @PlatinumBlast typically with something like this, you should set up the scenario in a save file, then share the file. Otherwise the challenge is basically "Land on Minmus before the timer dings" Also, welcome aboard!
  3. A few months ago I wrote a very, very slimmed down pseudo social media thinger so that my 9 year old could share pictures and whatnot with our family that's 600 miles away without being exposed to the vitriol that is real social media. Since it's running on a server in my basement, it's very easy to allow her unrestricted access to that system while her actual internet usage is strictly limited. Last night, we had a pretty severe storm with the tornado sirens going off from about 1 - 1:30 am. So at 1 I was forced to wake her up and bring her downstairs. At 1:30 we went back upstairs and I put her back to bed. She didn't go back to bed, though. I know this since she pretty much ratted on herself by posting on that system at 1:34 this morning. When I asked her about it, she told me she stayed up until 4
  4. For open-world mayhem I would recommend Saints Row IV.
  5. Tried it again in another fresh install. Same result. ~10 seconds between action and reaction. Lag clears up immediately when selecting the joystick. 6. Then install the mod and see if it behaves the way you want. If it doesn't, remove it.
  7. This by no means makes them invincible. It just makes them not floppy and not explode because you dared to load them into your physics bubble. It makes the joints stronger, not the parts.
  8. ...no? Not sure what you mean. If you like your rockets with the rigidness of undercooked pasta, then don't use it. This is similar to using autostruts, but less work and less buggy. I wouldn't say having rockets with a realistic firmness between parts being "too easy".
  9. Two $500 Er Vet trips this week. Two regular exams scheduled for Sat.... so probably another $1-200. Cats are officially grounded from getting sick.
  10. Some screenshots of your attempt would help. You can get screenshots by pressing F1, and they'll go into your Screenshots folder inside your install folder. To get them on the forum, just upload them to an image hosting website and post the image's direct link. It will automatically be embedded. Welcome to the forum, @Konk! If you need help with the pictures:
  11. Howdy @Dan Kerman The tutorials are not the best. If you can't find what you're looking for, just ask! Someone will be along to help in no time. Happy crashing!
  12. Here's the mod. Should still work for 1.5.1. You'll need module manager. https://spacedock.info/mod/137/Discontinued Parts From this thread:
  13. I want to say someone wrote a group of cfgs to bring back the deprecated parts after 1.4 was released. I'll try to find it. I don't think there's much you can do about the textures without using a texture replacement mod.
  14. Assuming no previous interaction and that the thread was locked immediately, it would take you over 5 years to like every post in the WDYDIKSPT thread.
  15. Changing your inclination also affects your pe and/or ap. When you're setting the manuever node, you need to also adjust the prograde and retrograde handles to keep your orbit where you want. So move the normal or antinormal handles until your projected orbit gets significantly larger, then pull the prograde or retrograde handle to shrink it back down. You'll have to go back and fourth a few times to get your orbit exactly where you want, then do your burn.
  16. For the part testing, you actually need to test the part when all the check boxes are green. So for parachutes, that means deploy, engines means activate, decouplers means decouple... etc. Can usually be done just by activating it through staging with the space bar, but I've noticed that sometimes it gets picky and actually wants you to right click on it and push a "run test" button. The "haul x part" contracts just require you to meet speed and alt parameters.
  17. I don't see it happening. System is designed based on 24 faces. 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, and 8 all factor into 24 cleanly. 5 and 7 wouldn't.
  18. Actually I think my favorite fruit would be an over-rip pear. Not sure what else to get from this?
  19. My cousin has Situs Inversus. Not only is everything on the wrong side, but it's mirrored. So if she ever needs an organ transplant, the donor would also need to have Situs Inversus.
  20. It just means you haven't unlocked it yet, I would imagine.
