I have a problem: I've been experimenting with the rotary racks, and I cannot get them to work. It might also be a bomb problem; just not sure. Whenever I try to drop a bomb from a rotary bomb rack nothing happens. Trigger armed, pressing the right button, all that jazz. Bomb just sits there.

Built a P-80 Added 60's era weapons and called it a day. I also have an MiG-19 that can take off on 40m/s and turns on a dime at supersonic speeds..... this is gonna be fun.- 1,012 replies

Never used it, it might trip up my plane building. Very very used to stock aero, as like 98% of my builds are planes. I could just get used go it. Well, we are going for 60's, and the enterprise was built in the 70's.... -

I-Beams, the kinetic energy is so great that the impact creates an explosion similar to a small tactical nuke. It was meant as a joke. I used a mass relay firing retrograde (I found a use for Rhine engines, Woot woot!) to de orbit the rods. -

I also like Airplane Plus, it adds a whole bunch of wing parts that I used of my MiG-17 (and it's even better than the real one. Takeoff speed of 40 m/s and can take off using 5% of the runway) can we also use tweakscale? It's also kind of fun, also made my MiG and P-80 so much better, the FAT-455 tail wing thing is perfect for the MiG 17 elevator, just it's too big. Too lazy to add pictures. Oh: I have a question. Since orbital kinetic bombardment was conceived in the 60's, could I put this in orbit and bombard enemy bases....? Jebs is so happy that he gets to destroy Kerbin.... -

Uhh... lemme check the scoring system... 54, not counting machine guns and ammo boxes. But it isn't too unrealistic, it could be mass produced in real life. (40,000 funds, would work well with a 400,000 fund limit) I would prefer a cash limit, But the point system works. -

Seems legit. I'd un-complicated-ify it a bit though, but this is pretty good. Nothing compared to DnD, so it shouldn't have to be dumbed down too much EDIT: I got a wing of modified P-80's which have been upgraded to be able to fly in the 60's era skies! Because here at Kraken aerotech, we believe in the golden oldies. And it was cheaper than designing a whole new plane for 60's era air combat. -

Or a maximum of eight ammo boxes per person....? And possible no turrets on planes. We also need rules for base building, like no whipple shields or only three layer whipple sheilds... those things are OP if you can build them. Maximum amount of money? That sounds about right. Maybe like maximum of like one hundred thousand funds per turn? The two hours was just an estimate, I just felt like I could deploy a squadron of drones and a small surveillance satellite within 2 hours. Maybe like 8 then? -

We would also need extraplanetary launchpads for bases, if we wanted to build our own. I'd say stock, tweakscale, BDAc, and EXL. Maybe kerbal constructs and kerbal foundries for tank treads. Rule suggestion: 2 hours per turn? Like, when it's your turn, 2 hours max to make sure you don't just completely Nuke another base? -

Yup, 60's sounds fun! We do need rules. Like how do we know when a turn is over, as someone could spend their whole week lobbing cruise missiles at another base with no discretion. -

I defininelt agree with the OP. It would have been cool to have the origional easter egg quest line in the game. I definitely support the mod idea, but I sadly have no coding experience. I could do textures (MSPaint wizard) but probably dont have the time. (Like the rocket part textures, or science node icons.) -

Mobile Version of KSP

I think the only problem would be All those dang buttons. Most mobile screens are too small to fit all the required buttons and sliders and things without a keyboard, and it wouldn't be very mobile if you had to carry around a charger port keyboard. You could in theory do it, but the gui would be hard to use.
