  1. Can the SII TCS radiators be used to prevent boiloff? And if so, does that require SH? I currently use CryoTanks, and extending the radiators (2 small ones) begins consuming EC, but the tank is still reporting boiloff at the same rate as without the radiators.
  2. Honestly, at 178MB your log file is somewhat impenetrable. You could maybe start by updating your ACK install to the very latest (and its dependencies), as that should fix a ton of the spammed errors you're getting. I have 90+ mods installed, and my log file for that many mods (when it doesn't have a ton of errors) is closer to 8 - 15MB when just starting up the game, going into the VAB, and then quitting. 178MB means something is drastically wrong - and the first culprit I see is ACK. Second is MiniAVC - this mod is dead and can only cause problems. This is just a start ... but I can hardly scroll through your log, so yeah.
  3. You still can: The mod version of this, as well as TWP, get their info from the internal planetarium so it shouldn't matter which planet pack or which size it is. I've used both of these on KSRSS. Also, if I'm not mistaken, a right-click on a relay antenna in the VAB gets you 'show relay info' and I think the "geosync" type altitude is shown there. Not 1000% sure about this last part...
  4. Last of a screenshot surge ... the beloved Delta with both ground and air lit SRBs, from LC-41 at Cape Canaveral And the new MB-60 powering the upper stage, delivering a big honkin relay sat.
  5. MB-60 on the HIIA It is, but there isn't. You might be thinking of the 1.875 interstage that has several subtypes.
  6. Is this a "maybe in the future" sort of nit? (couldn't locate a previous ask, but I'm sure someone's mentioned this before?)
  7. Welcome to the forums. For almost all mod release threads like this one, you can go back to the very first post on the first page - the mod authors go back and edit that first post with updated info whenever needed, and the download links are almost always there in that first post.
  8. idk prolly not really 15 - the video shows real time not game time. I realized after I posted it you maybe can't tell that the eventual staging was not me hitting the spacebar, and was indeed MJ finally staging. It's not MLP because a rocket that autostages normally will still autostage normally on the Saturn mobile launcher, and a Saturn V launched using the stock launch clamps still takes several seconds to lift off, even if you tell MJ to stage after 1 second. The last variable (that I can think of) is MJ + BDB engines that ramp up.
  9. Check this out: (spoiler: it goes by itself after like 15 seconds) edit: for comparison, a titan works with the expected timing:
  10. Actually totally expected. You can delete the ICPS folder from ACK to fix it. And if you have RMM installed you need to remove the SSME folder. These are folders that contain parts duplicated from these other two mods in case you don't have them. But if you do, then you don't need the ACK folders for them.
  11. Welp, decided to just complete the mission with the hardware I have in orbit, then I'll update and redo the mission with lessons learned! Landing, and landing video:
  12. So we all know that living on the bleeding edge of the dev branch is caveat emptor territory, and you can't be too attached to your saves or your missions. It's a lifestyle choice That said, I'm taking this opportunity to try and learn something, and maybe someone else could benefit from this too? People who make cinematics likely deal with this all the time... Today I want to replace the orbiter/lander pairs that I have in Mars orbit from the actual flown mission I did last night. I plan to do this by cheating the new craft to match the positions of the existing craft. I can do this in a new save or the same save, doesn't really matter. But, as you can see below I'm missing a few orbital parameters that I don't know how to express in the cheat dialog. Any help would be most appreciated!
  13. Phase II complete! Each probe had a couple small MCCs, and arrived safely in Mars orbit. Now each probe focuses on imaging potential landing sites, taking scientific measurements, and sending their findings back to Earth. Tomorrow we deploy the first lander! Good luck to everyone else trying this, too!
  14. Part Uno ... Voyagers on their way to Mars! My pictures don't do these parts justice - they look incredible in game! Part Dos later ...
  15. This is a bit beyond my depth, but do you think the fact that KSRSS uses 'Kerbin' in places and 'Earth' in other places could be involved in this somehow?
  16. you have Tantares which requires B9PartSwitch which you don't have.
  17. One thing you can do for sure is get rid of MiniAVC, as it's dead and can cause issues at runtime. There's a mod called NoMiniAVC, but the last thing you need is another mod.
