Works perfectly fine on 1.12.3, you're probably missing a dependency or something else. If you only have squad and mks in Gamedata, yeah you're missing stuff. -
Apart from CKAN, downloading 4 zipfiles and placing 3 folders and 1 file in a folder doesn't take 30 minutes. But to each his own ofcourse.

Scott Manley (duh), although it's a bit old (and I've seen it many many times). It's what got me into the game. Also like the beardy penguin's stuff (check out KSP Endurance of you want to see a good USI LS-MKS playthrough). And N9 gaming, he does a RO-RP1 playthrough in collaboration with beardy called For All Kerbalkind.

@RoverDudehas it on his roadmap, I believe (soonTM ). The orbital shipyard is the Konstructor (from the Konstruction mod). -

Depends on what you call life support, for supplies you can be nearby and use logistics, for the hab stuff you have to be connected.

hmm. Not really sure if this is up to date, but in the Wiki for the Duna module, under 'crew', it says: "Max 2, must include Pilot". https://github.com/UmbraSpaceIndustries/MKS/wiki/Parts-(Duna-Series) maybe you can try that? -

This has to do with Kopernicus. Go to the Kopernicus folder, open the 'config' folder and the Kopernicus_config.cfg. Check if "UseKopernicusAsteroidSystem" is set to to "Stock" (and not "true"). This will probably solve your issue for OPM. Not really sure for GU though...
