  1. @R-T-Bthis is probably a stupid question. I wanted to check my Kopernicus config for the change from release 75 ( A new Kopernicus_Config.cfg parameter was added, "DisableMainMenuMunScene" boolean, defaults to true.) but I couldn't find that parameter. When I checked that release (and some older and newer as well) I don't see the Kopernicus_config.cfg in the configfolder, only SolarPanel.cfg and System.cfg. Is that correct? If so, how can I change the DisableMainMeneMunScene parameter? (I have release 77 now btw)
  2. Have you read the last post in the BDA thread? They're working on it.
  3. Yesterday for like the first time (been playing since 1.7) I played with the volume up (no wife and kids around) so I could actually hear the music. Nice, very nice
  4. I think changing to stock is quite 'direct'. AFAIK the change is immediate.
  5. Wow, I can imagine that... I've read that NE3 is coming, so maybe that will give you a new spark And now let's get back on topic before a mod catches us
  6. Don't have much time (and I am no specialist) and you should probably ask this in the systemheat thread, but "Core Heat Xfer" en "Max Cooling" have nothing to do with SystemHeat. They are legacy parameters from CoreHeat, which is the old system that SystemHeat replaces. When you have SystemHeat they are not used. I'd suggest reading the SH wiki https://github.com/post-kerbin-mining-corporation/SystemHeat/wiki and the SH thread.
  7. btw love the name Trüffelschwein, calling all my friends that from now on.
  8. Were you trying to fullfill a contract? Maybe your vessel has to be a probe but isn't? Or maybe the orbit has certain (extra) requirements?
  9. So your last release is good to go? Or do you gave to push an update?
  10. You're being kinda vague so not really sure where it goes wrong, but: make sure you have the latest release https://github.com/UmbraSpaceIndustries/MKS/releases make sure you install correct: this is from a few posts up, note that the MKS release contains a bunch of other (very cool) USI mods, if you don't want them just delete them Dive into the rabbithole Come tell us how awesome it is
  11. Smaller rig or, as I and others said, do multiple launches and assemble in orbit or on the moon.
  12. Yeah this was fun to read He did exactly what I (and many other I guess) did when I started playing. I used to assume: better means bigger. "Moar boosters!", you know? Let's put the huuuugest engines on the huuugest fueltanks and strap some moar huuuge tanks to that. Poweeeeer! I used to have the exact same problems, the flipping, the raging... But when I look at my go to launcher(s) now, they aren't nearly as big as when I started. They are efficient and purposeful though. And, when I really want to have some big monstrosity, I do multiple launches and assemble in orbit. That way you can discover a whole new set of frustrations: those wonderful fits of rage that go with learning how to rendez vous and dock. Good times!
  13. Welcome! Depending on what type of learner you are, you can also watch tutorials on youtube. What really helped me was Scott Manley's tutorials. Some parts are a bit outdated, but I still think it grasps the fundamentals. There are ofcourse other tutorials also (by mister Manley such as this one, and by others). Don't hesitate to ask questions, and don't give up, we've all been there!
  14. It's called infinite propellant, do you have that?
