  1. I wish I could do that. I only just installed the latest Blender, but the .mu plugin doesn't seem to work in it and I haven't worked out to how to get an older version yet. Your model is excellent. @Caerfinon. feel very free to use @OrdinaryKerman's texture instead.
  2. Granted. After finally getting what you want, you realise that is no fun without a T284 and a Pr 776 as well to give you the proper immersive experience and give up in disgust. So much for my wish. I wish for a properly colored, regular Lego scale Remote control Lego Liebherr T284 with all the Lego pieces (Including moving/controllable parts) the instructions, and the proper app downloaded on my phone so I can control it, all of this delivered safely to me on Earth without Earth imploding or exploding, without me having any medical issues or conditions, and without my house being destroyed. Please read wish carefully.
  3. Wow. does that wrap properly? I had to put markers on the original and follow the clues to find where and which way up to put my writing.
  4. Granted. You are so happy that you finally get exactly what you wished for that you have a heart attack and never get to play with it. I wish that the next wish manages to stump the granter after that.
  5. Granted. While holding your skittles someone throws a bowling ball at you and knocks you over, getting them a spare. They are getting ready to throw it again to make the conversion. I wish to find all my insides, which are now on the floor from laughing so hard, and put them back in.
  6. Nope, you can never tell if a moderator is around, so invoking their names is always going to be uncertain. I vote for @Ben J. Kerman.
  7. Granted. The day is so peaceful you sleep right through it and wake up a week later, now frantically trying to catch back up to all you have missed, including that thread unlocking and re locking itself just long enough to crash the forum several times. I wish to laugh as hard as I did reading Ben j Kerman's very specific wish, that is trying to stump the corruption, on a regular basis. (because it is good for the soul.)
  8. Just found them myself 2 days ago when looking for car mods. Called Grounded Modular Vehicles. Here is the page on spacedock where you can download. https://spacedock.info/mod/1715/Grounded - Modular Vehicles# And from there I just found their forum thread. I haven't delved deeply into it yet but it seems very versatile. I built the crane in an install that is as close to stock as possible, for developing configs that most can use, so KAS isn't installed. One of these days I will load back up my heavy mod game which has all those things.
  9. Humble Beginnings. Many bugs to work out. Had to make my own servo to be strong enough to rotate under load and apparently fuel line gets confused when re loaded.
  10. @Maria Sirona Sadly you didn't actually tag Vanamonde so they don't know you called them. Yes people have guessed right many times. @Ben J. Kerman It depends very much on the amperage. High tension power wires can jump to ground over 8 meters and also travel long distances through the ground. Generally their insulation and ceramic separators stop them from jumping to ground but if you create an easier pathway for them by hanging from them then all bets are off. It is also why if you are in a vehicle of any description and you hit live power lines or they have hit the ground, you stay in your vehicle till the mains power is shut off. The tyres and metal frame allow the electricity to pass over rather than through you. If you get out, just touching the ground can kill you. End of todays lesson
  11. @kerbiloid Granted. You have now got a food dish the size of a radio telescope that unfortunately flattens your house and a radio telescope dish the size of a food dish that sadly got flattened by the first as it was in your house. @Ben J. Kerman Granted. But it is a static model with no moving parts and no motor or antenna that the app can control. RC stands for Really Cool right? I wish for an instuction book that teaches me about every possible config parameter.
  12. Me again. Got MC Hammer's "Can't touch this" running through my head. Do do do doot. It's @Melontime, break it down!
  13. Granted. Candy hits you with an iron bar for getting fresh. I wish that the Movie "Ready Player One" had actually followed the book exactly rather than dumbing it down for modern, small attention span, audiences.
  14. Nope, now I am awake. This is turning into a food thread and what is with all the long buried people getting to vote in the elections? I think @Dientus or @CollectingSP might be next.
  15. Yes. I always thought so myself. But in the real world the "Black Box" is bright orange so that it can be found when a plane's debris is spread over a large area.
  16. I believe I have already tried but feel free to move it to a section where you think it might get an answer. I asked here after putting questions out in other sections only to have them slowly buried un answered as others also ask questions. I have noticed many before me have asked questions and have had over 50 views but never recieved an answer. I hoped with all the accumulated experience of the moderators, that between you you would know of someone well versed who doesn't mind sharing their knowledge. So I am crossing my fingers. Thank you for any help you can give.
  17. Saw what you were using as your black box and thought this texture might be of use. When wrapped the "Black Box" is on the top of the model which shows as the face in the parts list. and is the correct way up. as a png of course.
  18. Changed the rotation of the Spidercat's downforce engine from 270 to 90 because now it appears to be in the opposite direction. Still lost as to why as I thought I hadn't changed it since first tested.
  19. Thank you. Don't know how it happened. Rather confusing as I am pretty sure that things usually rotate clockwise around the X axis.
  20. Someone mentioned that before, but I could never find the setting to switch it 1 way or another.
  21. @CaerfinonMy spidercat which initially worked with the second engine rotated to 270, suddenly started lifting me not pushing me down. now I have set it at 90 and it is back to holding me down. Anything change for you?
  22. That was already happening. It is the way the TEXTURE subsections are set out that made the difference.
  23. As I haven't been doing stock reconfigs much ?I thought I'd go dig some out from my mod game(which I haven't loaded in so long now) So these give you motorized versions of the stock small and medium landing gear for taxi-ing. I usually just use 1 on the front of an aircraft. They have tweakscale support, though the texture map tends to show up translucently in the light beam when you increase size. GameData\Squad\Parts\Wheel\LandingGear\ MotorizedGearSmall.cfg MotorizedGearMedium.cfg
  24. Hi guys. Thanks to ColdWarAerospaces changeable colour wheels I now know how to part variant more than 1 texture at a time. So please replace the part variant in each of the cats with this. If you copy this then go into the config and highlight the entire Part Variant text then click paste, it will replace it. Just make sure you haven't added or lost a bracket afterwards. You now will have the headlights looking right in all skins. @Caerfinon@Astrion@Dientus@Martian Emigrant
