@Ben J. Kerman Granted. The kid runs away with it instead. @Admiral Fluffy I can live with being an Octopus, more limbs to make things. Granted it is in english brail. I wish to always have when I need them any and all Lego pieces ever made to make any model I want at any time in any colours I want and the perfect recall and the amazing creativity required to do so with no physical, mental or medical drawbacks that would stop me from doing so. No natural or non natural disasters. Only the amounts I need at the time, no being crushed under anything, no drowning in anything, no dying from old age or suddenly having my current age suddenly change. No sentient, AI or remote controlled/programmed entities of any kind ruining my fun. No making everybody else on Earth or the greater universe disappear. No changing my mind to not enjoy what I am building, no having the materials or models suddenly disappear until I am ready to let them go. While staying my full human self at all times.
-
Denied for not seeing that the specificity of my wish prevents me from being something that can't use them.
-
Granted. You finally get exactly what you always wanted, you build it and are ready to enjoy it when suddenly a young child with no sense of personal possessions pulls it brutally apart before your very eyes so that they can make something else from it. Get yourself the free Paint.net and you could create your own. As long as you "SAVE AS" something else when you alter an original so as not to lose the original and then follow the convention of the part variant module that is at the end of the config file for the part, you can add more skins that can be switched to in the SPH.
-
Cool. I mean go into the config and resize the part using the "rescaleFactor =" parameter. Then change the hard max and soft max extension parameter in the piston motor so that I don't have 1 half slide right out of the other half. But all for nought as it shrinks the boom piece attached to it when you extend the piston. Also it would never stay where I put it when building it. So same size pistons with upgraded motors only. Even then it seems a little twitchy. Possibly because it is large boom, piston, medlarge boom, piston, med boom, piston, Structural cubic times 4 then hinge with another piston. Still, finally got somewhere and the towing hitch from the mod pack works as a way of picking things up.

GameData\ColdWarAerospace\Parts\Ground\HMMWV_Wagon\HMMWV_wagon.cfg Haven't bothered changing it to a different name for this or the van. Best you change it if you want to keep the originals. GameData\ColdWarAerospace\Parts\Ground\UAZ-452\UAZ-452.cfg ColdWarAerospace\Parts\Ground\Mk1A_Standard_Wheel\Mk1A_Small_Wheel.cfg GameData\ColdWarAerospace\Parts\Ground\Mk1A_Standard_Wheel\Mk1A_Standard_Wheel.cfg GameData\ColdWarAerospace\Parts\Ground\Mk1A_Standard_Wide_Wheel\Mk1A_Standard_Wide_Whee2.cfg The monster wheels aren't just bigger they also have more torque to account for the greater rolling diameter. Yep. Now for the power of @Caerfinon.

Random Part reconfigs to create new wonders.

Seem to be on a bit of an improve mod vehicles kick. Have upgraded and noded the 2 vehicles from cold war aerospace and the Ateam van from Rill Jumpers. Given the Ateam Van and the retro Kenworth Better IVAs and adapted the wheels from cold war to have nodes to attach to to the vehicles nodes. Also made a smaller version that actually fit the cold war van. The Aqua cat wheels fit the van also. Had to lower the mass right down on the cold war wheels otherwise when you drove off the runway to the flat at speed, you would end up flipping high into the air. Made some monster truck wheels out of the Aqua cat wheels too. While making crane parts for @Ben J. Kerman's crane challenge I also found that trying to resize pistons gives you very weird results. -
I learnt the hard way that pistons don't like to be resized. So finally the booms stay where I attached them when building. Yes I adapted parts to make your telescoping boom. Used the fuel tank mesh to make the boom parts and have re-enforced and upgraded the pistons, hinges and servo to make them work for a crane. Seems over 4 ton might be a bit heavy for it.
-
Granted. Good luck trying to get your feet in them now. I wish I knew ahead that resizing pistons gets you very weird results (like the part you attach to them suddenly changing size when you extend the piston)
-
Granted. After finally getting what you want, you realise that is no fun without a T284 and a Pr 776 as well to give you the proper immersive experience and give up in disgust. So much for my wish. I wish for a properly colored, regular Lego scale Remote control Lego Liebherr T284 with all the Lego pieces (Including moving/controllable parts) the instructions, and the proper app downloaded on my phone so I can control it, all of this delivered safely to me on Earth without Earth imploding or exploding, without me having any medical issues or conditions, and without my house being destroyed. Please read wish carefully.
-
Granted. You are so happy that you finally get exactly what you wished for that you have a heart attack and never get to play with it. I wish that the next wish manages to stump the granter after that.
-
Granted. While holding your skittles someone throws a bowling ball at you and knocks you over, getting them a spare. They are getting ready to throw it again to make the conversion. I wish to find all my insides, which are now on the floor from laughing so hard, and put them back in.
-
Nope, you can never tell if a moderator is around, so invoking their names is always going to be uncertain. I vote for @Ben J. Kerman.
-
Granted. The day is so peaceful you sleep right through it and wake up a week later, now frantically trying to catch back up to all you have missed, including that thread unlocking and re locking itself just long enough to crash the forum several times. I wish to laugh as hard as I did reading Ben j Kerman's very specific wish, that is trying to stump the corruption, on a regular basis. (because it is good for the soul.)

Just found them myself 2 days ago when looking for car mods. Called Grounded Modular Vehicles. Here is the page on spacedock where you can download. https://spacedock.info/mod/1715/Grounded - Modular Vehicles# And from there I just found their forum thread. I haven't delved deeply into it yet but it seems very versatile. I built the crane in an install that is as close to stock as possible, for developing configs that most can use, so KAS isn't installed. One of these days I will load back up my heavy mod game which has all those things.
-
Humble Beginnings. Many bugs to work out. Had to make my own servo to be strong enough to rotate under load and apparently fuel line gets confused when re loaded.
-
@Maria Sirona Sadly you didn't actually tag Vanamonde so they don't know you called them. Yes people have guessed right many times. @Ben J. Kerman It depends very much on the amperage. High tension power wires can jump to ground over 8 meters and also travel long distances through the ground. Generally their insulation and ceramic separators stop them from jumping to ground but if you create an easier pathway for them by hanging from them then all bets are off. It is also why if you are in a vehicle of any description and you hit live power lines or they have hit the ground, you stay in your vehicle till the mains power is shut off. The tyres and metal frame allow the electricity to pass over rather than through you. If you get out, just touching the ground can kill you. End of todays lesson

@kerbiloid Granted. You have now got a food dish the size of a radio telescope that unfortunately flattens your house and a radio telescope dish the size of a food dish that sadly got flattened by the first as it was in your house. @Ben J. Kerman Granted. But it is a static model with no moving parts and no motor or antenna that the app can control. RC stands for Really Cool right? I wish for an instuction book that teaches me about every possible config parameter.
-
Me again. Got MC Hammer's "Can't touch this" running through my head. Do do do doot. It's @Melontime, break it down!
-
Granted. Candy hits you with an iron bar for getting fresh. I wish that the Movie "Ready Player One" had actually followed the book exactly rather than dumbing it down for modern, small attention span, audiences.
