  1. Good job with the accent. I thought it was really funny, and it actually reminds me of a quote I made up for Wernher once (to justify building an absolutely enormous rocket) "because he wanted to, and I quote, 'put zee entire Kerbal Space Center into orbit, along vith my house. I hear zee view is great up zere.'"
  2. "Olympus Mons is a volcano, you say? Good, I can get rid of a magic ring while we're here."
  3. That's good to hear. I think my next test will be to retrofit the ship with jet engines, fill up the tanks, and use cheats to see how much distance it covers with a certain amount of fuel. From there I can hopefully extrapolate the amount of fuel needed to complete the journey.
  4. Last Saturday I bought a 1:72 Supermarine Spitfire MkVc from Airfix. It'll be here sometime next month. I made sure I grabbed a beginner's kit because I am trying out the hobby.
  5. As a few of you know I have moved recently (therefore my Legos are in storage) but I am working on collecting all of the space sets. I'm saving up for the lunar rover, Discovery shuttle, and SLS. If I work through all of those I'm keeping my eye on the Concord.
  6. "Hey, what's that saucer-shaped thingy floating outside?"
  7. I won't install MechJeb permanently for personal reasons (I'm one of those people) but I will consider giving it a whirl for the sake of the mission. You know, I just remembered I can use jet engines on Laythe... The boat's fuselage does hold liquid fuel for the nuclear engine that will carry it, so ISRU equipment to top off the tanks isn't too far fetched. And I could carry propellers as a backup, in case I run out of fuel.
  8. This is a great idea, will download as soon as I can. Coincidentally, there is a WIP mod called G.R.A.P.E.F.R.U.I.T. (it allows you to turn fuel tanks into habitats after they're used)
  9. This mod is a brilliant solution to the idea of converting an ET into a station. I will download this as soon as I can!
  10. Floor 5663: The entire world, represented as a birthday cake. A sign says, "Have a slice but not too much." You grab a plastic fork and paper plate from a nearby table and cut a single slice. You enjoy it as you head to the next floor.
  11. Floor 5661: A submersible, painted a bright safety yellow. There seems to be quite the party going on inside.
  12. Floor 5659: A guitar, with drops of saltwater on it. They almost look like tears.
