  1. Generally, I make sure the location of the CoM is at the same place both dry and wet so that’s not the problem. The main issue is figuring out the aerodynamics. It seems for high-altitude planes mainly SSTOs and Shuttles that act like the NASA STS program tend to have that need but if I put the CoL closely behind the CoM then it tends to flip which is an issue for SSTOs more because they need to fly both in thick and thin atmospheres.
  2. I recently finished building a shuttle that flies perfectly fine in both high and low altitudes. The main problem is that I have to push the center of the lift farther back from the center of mass. Is that needed for high-altitude aircraft or is there something wrong with my design?
  3. I am having difficulty making a compact mining rig that is around the size of the 1.5m ISRU. I am also struggling on giving it enough power to mine at a reasonable timeframe and replenishing a moderately sized lander that is not over 6 years. Does anyone have tips on making a good mining unit with these in mind?

  5. Yeah, I meant despawn. Is there a way for them to not do that? And I mean when the parachutes despawn after touchdown and the booster crashes because tipping over.

I was recently testing out landing spent stages for my rockets and I keep on coming across that parachutes tend to snap after touchdown which is bad for tall boosters that I might want to recover in one piece for say in a career mode save. Is there any way that I can stop this from happening and increase booster survival from a watery or land grave? Thanks in advance.

  8. For a while now I’ve been having mission-critical issues with Eve landers mainly with the 10-meter inflatable heat shield colliding with the lander alongside making the ship a reasonable size. I was wondering if there was a way to mitigate that particular issue. Thanks in advance.

  10. Hello fellow KSP players. I am relatively new to making SSTOs but I noticed that some of the planes have a hard time going into orbit even with enough fuel. I’m curious if it’s my ascent profile or my angle of attack and I was wondering if there is a preferred profile for certain types of space planes. Thanks in advance.

  13. I was recently having difficulties with converting hours to Kerbin days with the orbital period since the website resonant orbit calculator goes up to double digit hours compared to the 6 hour days. Is there a way to figure that out? Thanks in advance.
  14. I love this add-on alongside the website but is it possible if you could add an option for both formats to cap on days instead of 2-digit hours which is hard to calculate without reference since if I divide by 6 the values are different from what I get on the site.

  16. I’m trying to contact support when it goes onto a separate application without either showing me the email so I can copy it or submitting it via there site. I don’t want to have to sign up for another mail service.
  17. I can’t believe that private division won’t just give me the darn email. I’m trying to close my KSP account for personal reasons and this is how I’m supposed to do it? If anyone can link me there email that would be great.
  18. I was taking jeb out for a ride on a clean install of ksp 1.11.1 and ejected him because why not and there was a weird static sound playing when i was focusing on a kerbal on eva. Any word on how to fix this?
  19. I get these rarely. I don't like to do screenshots because I have to share by Imgur and that's a hostile place so I can find the error file next to the KSP_x64.exe in the folder. the file is KSP_x64.gc. It has the same text as the title minus the situation explaining.
  20. I only have Kerbal Engineer Redux 1.1.7.2 Mechjeb, and Module Manger 4.1.4 on KSP 1.10. I was sending Jeb to the Mun and the game crashed with that error message I got on a text file.
