totm aug 2023 What funny/interesting thing happened in your life today?
razark replied to Ultimate Steve's topic in The Lounge
I like to think that there is an ambulance out there somewhere, with a fish silhouette painted on the side. (Although, you shouldn't get full credit, as you has air support.) -
So, what is your point? Do you have anything, ever, to post here besides your constant complaining and negativity?
-
It was specified as a car engine. I suppose that is one way of dealing with tailgaters, though.
-
I wouldn't trust water that's been run through an engine like that, though. Various oil and metal shaving contaminates would probably need to be removed first.
-
Gemini and Apollo used fuel cells, and reclaimed the water for drinking. https://airandspace.si.edu/collection-objects/fuel-cell-apollo/nasm_A19730934000

I'm not familiar with those. I'll have to take a look at them myself.
-
You can probably find some people to play with right here. I'm expecting to see people forming groups on the forum, and you'll have a choice of what sort of playstyle you want.

"On time, on budget, or meets specs. Pick two." "I delivered my project under budget, and doing exactly what it was asked to do. It was two years late, but that's ok. The entire program was five years behind schedule at that point." S-Band radio engineer, STS Orbiter System

Maybe check out the Final Frontier mod? It's not exactly what you're looking for, but it's the only thing I know of that is in-game.
-
We're talking about KSP2, though. If you want to complain about the lack of news on KSP1 development, go right ahead. You've earned it. Uh huh. And? No, it's not bad. But it's not owed, either. Constantly demanding more info and complaining they're not telling you enough gets you what? Hell if I know. I guess I just don't see the big deal about waiting to find out about a game. I'll buy it when it releases if it looks good, but until then, I'm going to be playing games I already have, having fun, and not caring much about it.

Preorder? As in, you haven't given them any money for KSP2 yet? As in, you're not their customer at this point in time, and they are not beholden to you in any way? Ok, then.

What's to be held accountable for? The devs should be accountable to their customers, and right now, not a single person on this forum is a customer. The game will come out, or it won't. The game will be good, or it will suck. Not one bit of information/screenshot/video/whatever is going to change any of that.

I used to find out about new games by going to the store. Release date were announced by a box being on the shelf. Previews were screenshots on that box. Feature reveals were the text on the box. Has patience become so damn rare now?

totm march 2020 So what song is stuck in your head today?
razark replied to SmileyTRex's topic in The Lounge
I've never really been a fan of The uploader has not made this video available in your country by Video unavailable. It's a little bland. -
totm aug 2023 What funny/interesting thing happened in your life today?

Not today, but this last weekend. I saw a roadrunner. Which is also what it was doing. (There was a disappointing lack of coyotes and ACME boxes in the area, however.) -
For Questions That Don't Merit Their Own Thread

Very carefully, and only when needed. Also, a well built and protected reactor is going to be different from a barrel full of radioactive waste. "Launching like crazy" is very different from "reliable enough to be confident in not causing a major diplomatic crisis by dropping the largest dirty bomb ever devised on <insert random country/countries>". -
If we're basing guesses off of Apollo anniversaries, December is the 50th anniversary of Apollo 17.

FY2023 means that it might land in 2022, while: means that it will release in CY2022. And has not been refuted. The FY2023 part limits the portion of CY2022 that the release could occur in. It does not mean that the 2022 date is invalid. Do you? Anyway, have fun with this. I'm done.

And yet, you are claiming it does. Nothing yet has contradicted the CY2022 release date projection. First statement: New Year's Eve is in December. Second statement: New Year's Eve is in winter. Based on this, you're saying that you would believe New Year's Eve could have been on December 3rd, but once the second statement is made, January 24th is now a perfectly valid date for New Year's Eve.. Now do you understand?

Sorry, I missed the statement that 2022 is no longer a valid date. Can you please post that link?

Very good. You've got that part down. Except we've been told it WILL release in 2022. That's the second sentence of the first post of this thread. Therefore, again, you need to look where FY2023 and CY2022 overlap. It's really not that complicated.

Yes, it does. Look at where FY2023 and Calendar Year 2022 overlap. It's somewhere in that area. FY2023: 1 Apr 2022 - 31 Mar 2023 Calendar Year 2022: 1 Jan 2022 - 31 Dec 2022 So, since we know it somewhere in both of those date ranges, we can conclude that it is somewhere within 1 Apr 2022 - 31 Dec 2022.
