  1. You bought KSP. You are entitled to KSP. You bought merchandise. You are entitled to merchandise. But you have not bought KSP2, therefore you are not entitled to KSP2. Take Two is not under any obligation to release KSP2 on a certain date, nor are they obliged to ever release it. They could simply cancel the project, and you would be entitled to absolutely no recourse.

  3. Yes, it certainly could. It could be cheaper for people who buy on PC, rather than console. It could be cheaper for people that purchase it on Steam than other sources. It could be cheaper for people who have red hair. It could be cheaper for people who vow they will eat nothing but fried cheese and drive Ford Pintos in reverse down the highway. But, can you give one viable reason why it should be cheaper for anyone, rather than allowing the company to charge full price for a product it developed?
  4. Space is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind-boggling big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist, but that's just peanuts to space. Listen; when you're thinking big, think bigger than the biggest thing ever and then some. Much bigger than that in fact, really amazingly immense, a totally stunning size, real 'wow, that's big', time. It's just so big that by comparison, bigness itself looks really titchy. Gigantic multiplied by colossal multiplied by staggeringly huge is the sort of concept we're trying to get across here.
  5. Meh. I've lived in the shadow of a NASA center for most of my life. I'm used to space programs getting delayed. Thanks for letting us know, and take the time you need to get it done well.
  6. I've really come to enjoy any movie I liked that I can get my kids to watch and enjoy. Last time it was The Forbidden Planet. This weekend, I'm going to see how well the radio version of War of the Worlds goes.
  7. That fixed the Habitat. I am still seeing it on the Botany Lab, Solar Batter Module, MOLE Battery Module, and MOLE Power Module.
  8. I haven't noticed anything else, but I only really loaded it up to make sure everything loaded properly.
  9. I just installed 1.24.1, and it fixes the inability to load for the parts I was having an issue with. I did notice that this version has some z-fighting on some parts, noticeably the Habitat and the Botany modules, that wasn't there in 1.22.0.
  10. No, I want to know why the change was implemented, which was my original question: The quote from an official representative was "nobody on Squad or PD was involved in the changes". Which raised my question of "who the hell is in charge of the server, if a third party can make changes to it without the owner's express involvement?". Edit: What prevents the third party from exposing you email and password if they so desire, and does the server owner bear the responsibility if they push out an update that does so?
  11. If Squad/PD installed the changes, then Squad/PD are involved by virtue of choosing to install the changes. If Squad/PD weren't involved in the changes being implemented on the server, then Squad/PD do not have control of the server. This isn't some false dilemma. Either Squad/PD were involved and had control, or Squad/PD weren't involved and had no control.
  12. Excuse me. My earlier response to you was misplaced. I should not have responded to a fellow member in such a way, as I thought I was responding to someone with an official capacity. However, my ire and response still stand as directed to Squad/PD. The second part of my quoting was misattributed to you, and not the original source, who is an official representative. My response to that portion should have properly been targeted at @ManeTI. That explains what happened, but it doesn't explain why they decided to do it. Is it? The official response was "nobody on Squad or PD was involved in the changes", which either means that the changes were made without Squad/PD's approval, or that they have abrogated their responsibility for what happens to this forum/website. Either way, they show a lack of control over the site.
  13. Which completely and utterly did not answer the question... So, what I'm being told is that Squad and PD do not have control of what they claim is their own website? How is that in any way not a godsdamn disturbing revelation? What else do they not control? What else might change without their permission? Is our personal data safe? I used my debit card to purchase KSP. What reason do I have to expect that my data has not been handed off to a third party? My email address is now up for grabs because anyone who built the payment system can make whatever changes they want at any time, and I am expected to just accept it? Do y'all not realize how unreassuring your response is? Edit: I'm sorry, I was reading you response as from an official source. I am not trying to attack a fellow forum member.
  14. Why? Is there some "advantage"? Or are we just making changes for the sake of making changes, and calling it "progress"?
  15. If the game screwed up, I'll revert flight. If I screwed up, I play it through, try to save the crew, the vehicle, and the mission, as best I can. I also play with the Launch Failure mod, so I expect to have things go badly, and prepare for it.
  16. I can confirm something happened to some of the parts. I was able to get the Mk1 and Mk2 docking ports to stop complaining, but the Appaloosa OrbitalModule eluded me. From 1.22.0: name = wbiMk1DockingPort and: name = wbiMk2DockingPort From 1.24.0: name = WBI_Mk1DockingPort and: name = WBI_Mk2DockingPort Double check you got rid of the 1.24.0 version completely. I was able to swap 1.22.0 back in and everything worked.
  17. I bought a pizza last month, and when I ordered one tonight from a different pizza place, they expected me to actually pay for it! Don't these people know anything about loyalty?!? Damn these employees that actually expect a paycheck! I think they might just be in it for the money, not for the love of giving me free stuff!
