  1. Ahh ok ok, wasn't sure on that. And the second number of size changes the size of its height and I believe does the same for area as well.
  2. As far as I'm aware you shouldn't need to change anything, it'll adapt to how big the planet is on its own... Then again I've never messed with anything outside of stock Kerbin to know for sure but I think EVE works like that.... But if it doesn't the only thing you should need to change is the altitude and possibly the first number under size (so change 4000 not the 2)
  3. As it might be awhile before I can put out the release version (waiting on updates from Scatterer and EVE) I thought I'd share the current roadmap I have set up for SVE and what I plan to do with this in the future! If you have any questions let me know! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.0.0: (dependent on stable(ish) version of Scatterer and EVE available) Textures finalized Configuration files finalized 1.1.0: Jool rings redone Additional features such as dust storms and snow storms added 1.2.0: RSS colored version released (based on RVE development) CityLight map redone 1.3.0: Textures change to grayscale (for the most part) and colors are transitioned to EVE config control --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- That's all I have for now and will serve as the basis for what I work on at the time. Once 1.0.0 hits I will be moving this to the Release forums and development will continue from there. If you have any suggestions or feedback please let me know! Thanks for being patient and I hope I can finally get a new version out to everyone soon.
  4. I had this at first but in my own testing (with a GTX 970 and an i7-4770k) there was a considerable amount of lag caused by the volumetric clouds when there were super thick cloud layers present. Giving the fact that if you're bringing a return craft to Eve it'll likely have a high part count, I don't want to add graphical lag on top of the physics lag that will be occurring from a high part count ship. Thanks for the feedback but for the sake of a majority of the users I don't think I can do this
  5. Have had this before too, I think rbray knows about it.
  6. Hmmm maybe. I'll poke the CKAN guys about it tomorrow.
  7. Would you want to continue to maintain the thread Felger or did you want a new one?
  8. Adding onto this, this is happening on Linux but not Windows, dunno if it's something that is conflicting in EVE with the Linux OS.
  9. If you don't have or know what RSS is you probably shouldn't be in the thread
  10. Yeah, I don't know how CKAN works with Kerbal Stuff... I thought it would update it on CKAN when I updated it on Kerbal Stuff but I don't know. Installing it manually is quite simple. All you need to do is go to the download page and download which version you want. After that, download scatterer and drop that into your GameData and then drop the files from my download into your GameData, overwriting anything it asks about. Should be set after that.
  11. Interesting. Unfortunately I'm not able to test anything on Linux so I have to rely on feedback. There is a dev forum but it's not very active so I'd check the main EVE thread if you haven't already. If you have, go ahead and post something to rbray so he knows it's happening with his latest dev version, he'll be able to look into way better than I'd be able to. Sorry about that
  12. Is this using the most recent version I released today? v0.5.6?
  13. He said it was an issue with stock Laythe aka it's a bug that Squad would have to fix, nothing that EVE caused
  14. Oh, I didn't know that about Linux. Yeah, my version is supposed to go into the main folder and overwrite everything. I'll make sure to correct that in the next version. Just copying my scatterer folder into the main one and overwrite anything it asks about should get everything to work on Linux then. Thanks for the information!
  15. I'm sure I'd be able to keep up the Stock configs. I don't think I'd be able to contribute to the dev of the RealPlume plugins and effects however, not skilled enough for that
  16. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SVE v0.5.6 - Updated PQS file to new EVE format -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Will we ever get a release version blue text?
  17. ..... I thought I added that... woops... I fixed that on my end I guess I just forgot to put it in the release xD I'll do that now so you don't have to
  18. Ooooh yay. I've been waiting for an alternative to Kscale2 as it seems development has stopped! I'll definitely be messing with this in the future!
  19. Sweeet, let me know if you need anymore help on doing that Yeah, I understand some might want that so eventually I'll get around to it hehe.
  20. Thats what I figured! Maybe one day (after a full release) I'll do it how it's suppose to be but for now this is easier for me
  21. EVE shouldn't have to flip it, KSP should do that automatically when the DDS file loads.
  22. Will it work with how I have my textures set up? I don't do what is normal in how the textures are black and white and the colors are applied through the EVE GUI and configs. I color them to what I want them to be beforehand and then just use that in game.
