  1. That's incredible. That's a lot easier than how JSI was doing it. Wonderful! Looking forward to seeing it!
  2. If I recall correctly you had to make sure the part had a custom transform as well as textures to go along with it. Basically to get it on a stock part you had to rebuild the part from scratch making sure you had the transforms to JSI's requirements and then it'd work. But if it is just a texture for the way you do it, that'll be a lot easier.

That actually helped me in the fact that I saw some things I need to fix It also made me really want to find what is causing the black city light textures <.< And just so you know, as long as EVE and Scatterer update to 1.1 I will be doing so as well
  5. You can do that or you can just delete the CityLights folder from /StockVisualEnhancements/EVE

  7. Just an update for everyone. I've finished my finals so I finally have more time for SVE. There's going to be a big project shift for the next update which some people may or may not like but it really won't effect anything. More details will come as I'm closer to the release but expect an update sometime this week.
  8. @tschieggm I'd like to add that RVE is already under a basically open source license, CC-BY-NC-SA lets you redistribute modified files as long as you give credit back to pingopete (which is how I'm doing SVE).
  9. I thought it was determined a bit back that there is no way for KSP to be forced to run in DX12 as Unity 4 doesn't even know what DX12 is. I play on Windows 10 and have never had it try to run as DX12 when there are no graphic API flags in my shortcut.

  12. I think its just tainted from when Squad first released 64-bit and it was an unstable mess for everyone and now most mod developers hate it and won't help anyone who uses it.
  13. When you open the editor just press the button all the way to the right and then type in the album ID ---------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------
  14. Oh? Hmm, haven't run into that issue before. If it happens again take a screenshot so I can see what it does. I mean the only thing I could think it is would be a bug with EVE as there really isn't anything I could change config / texture side that would cause an issue like that. The CityLight configs are super super minimal so I couldn't see how they'd break easily. Thanks
  15. Hi! I'm sorry you had troubles with SVE. If you're interested in using SVE but with less cloud cover you can try removing one of the cloud layers and see if you like it better. Also, SVE doesn't add a shared asset file so removing that wouldn't do anything anyways If you have any other questions or need help with it please feel free to post on the SVE thread and I can help you there! But, I too am waiting for Proot to release his update!
  16. Yeah, I haven't found out what keeps causing the black city issue quite yet. It only does it sometimes which is just odd to me. Finals are this week so I don't have a lot of time to work on it right now After this friday I'll have all the time in the world though!
  17. Have you tried using the fix blackrack posted? If you haven't try this hotfix and see if that corrects everything
  18. Screenshots would be appreciated as well as screenshots of your Gamedata folder and inside of the StockVisualEnhancements folder too
  19. I'm going to play around with Scatterer to see if I can get something on non-atmospheric bodies but doesn't make it look like it has an atmosphere, if that makes sense. I also need to re-do the Jool cloud texture layers. But finals are this week so progress will be super slow. Glad you like it
  20. Yeah it's not technically a dependency unless you want the rings like Poodmund said. The CKAN stuff is yeah... I didn't make the configs as it was automagically made for me when I added it to Kerbal Stuff so they made the configs for me. However, I plan on releasing official CKAN support with the release version so everything should be set properly (dependencies, options, etc.). Which hopefully will be out within a month or so if everything goes to plan.
