  1. And if you got the game through steam, you can just copy paste the files. Also, welcome to the forums.
  2. So this happened to me. I tried to make an engine cluster using Tweakscaled down cubic struts and they some how disconnected and are hanging by the fuel lines. I didn't know fuel lines could be used like this, will exploit As for the rocket, I duct taped the engines on with struts and it worked fine.
  3. DO NOT put the mods in the squad folder EVER. Go back and delete all the BDarmory things from the Squad folder. Install directions: 1a.Download BDarmory. (From https://github.com/PapaJoesSoup/BDArmory/releases or https://mods.curse.com/ksp-mods/kerbal/248173-bdarmorycontinued) b. Download dependencies https://github.com/jrodrigv/PhysicsRangeExtender/releases 2.Open the zip file for both. 3.Copy the GameData folder to the KSP root folder. If you installed them correctly, there should be a new category in the VAB/SPH called BDarmory and all the parts are in there. DO NOT place any GameData folders inside the Gamedata folder, EVER. More detailed directions here:
  4. To help reduce part count is my guess. And you don't see real life rockets that are covered with struts. I'm perfectly fine with autostruts, but if you're not you can turn them off.
  5. I usually name my LKO station Olympus,
  6. There is one but I don't think it works with 1.3.0
  7. According the cfg file, it's under advanced aerodynamics in the stock tree. as for cost I have no idea, but I would assume it scales.
  8. For me, it's building a spaceplane and getting to other planets. To be honest it's probably not because I don't have the ability to, I'm just too impatient, especially for space planes. As for getting to other planets, I almost always get tired of career mode before that point. I really should go land on another planet in sandbox or something.
  9. Ah of course, I should've known before I asked.
  10. New planets would be a good addition, but other solar systems would not be, due to the sheer distances and lack of FTL travel in stock. Well, I'm posting this at 21:33:20 PDT.
  11. who is/was the first moderator? Hope all of you are having a great day!
  12. Seeing that you only have 4GB of RAM, I recommend that you use the 2048 textures. And make sure you are using the right version of KSP, which would be 1.2.2 if you want RSS to work.
  13. Don't stick the log in the forum, it messes things up. And that's not the right log anyways. Upload your output log to a website like dropbox and paste the link here. Like Gaarst said, you shouldn't expect mods for 1.2 or before to work for 1.3. likewise you shouldn't expect mods for 1.3 to work for 1.2. Also, if you have the steam version, it is recommended that you make a second copy of the game to mod.
  14. By default the game starts deleting debris if there's too many. I think the default amount is 250. My habit is not to leave anything in LKO if I can help it. like leaving my first stages sub orbital.
  15. On PC it's just by typing @Tuko and a list of people with usernames starting with Tuko pops up and you can select a user from that list. I don't know how it's done on mobile.
  16. In the editor, you can click on the weapons manager and assign the fire missile action to an action group.
  17. I think it wouldn't be quite necessary for solar, because you can tell pretty easily if you're on the night side or not. As for communications, I had the idea of bubbles popping up to indicate where you'll have connection and where you'll not.
  18. I just had a really dumb idea. Someone should make a mod that adds a simple game like snake or the Chrome dinosaur game to the loading screen so we have something to do while waiting.
  19. If I remember correctly you can just set the action on the weapon manager part to fire missile, and it will fire one of whatever missile is selected.
  20. That's from some kind of life support mod. I think either USI or Kerbalism.
  21. If parts aren't showing up than you probably didn't install it correctly. Have you installed any mods before? or is this your first mod? Are you sure you downloaded the right version for the version of KSP that you have installed? Also BDArmory adds parts to a new category in the editor, so make sure you look there.
  22. Also even if you tidied it up in base 10, it might still be untidy in binary. Also, the number exists as a 64-bit floating point anyways so shouldn't affect calculation anyways.
  23. That's not how you share a file. You have to upload it to a website like dropbox and paste the link here. The way you did it was giving the location of the file on your computer, but we don't have access to that so we can't view the file. Also just leave it as a .craft file. As for pictures, you should be able to upload to imgur from an iphone/ipad.
