  1. Yes, I am. Also, an animation where it actually accelerates down the tube rather than just teleporting. I'm right now trying to fix some issues that I think are caused by Krakensbane, I need to figure out better how that works.
  2. I think Majiir added custom particle effects to Kethane that can be defined in the .cfg. Those would probably sync to the conversion.
  3. The name of this thread should include the word "multiplayer". I wouldn't have even opened it except that I saw that it had gained 15 pages in a few hours, which indicated it was something big.
  4. There is no particle emitter, I hadn't even thought of that.
  5. The smelter has a heat animation; it's supposed to glow when in use. But the stock heating module didn't seem to like it so I just gave up. I haven't tried with Kethane's converter animations.

  8. The source for the mod is not in the zip to save download size. You can find it on Github.
  9. You already can with the .cfg. EL did this for a while back when Ore resources were in testing.
  10. I tried to make tanks, but they kind of failed. I may revisit them later this fall.
  11. That actually looks roughly the same size as Newark International. Maybe a bit tall. I wonder whether Kerbtown's animation system allows for escalators?
  12. They've broken plenty of other APIs with updates; why keep this one separate?
  13. It sounds like you need to switch the map from showing Kethane to Ore, which you can do by clicking the little arrows in the Kethane window.

Since experimenting with my mass driver, I can say for fairly certain that it is impossible to go below 8k and return at any speed - the drag equation is ferocious enough that if you add too much speed (above 15 km/s or so), the physics engine applies too much force in one timestep and you actually end up going backwards.
  15. Kerbtown is limited however, as objects can only go out to roughly 300km before they are clipped. So you can use a space elevator to get to space, but not to geosync orbit.

  18. Do you have the latest Kethane? I believe Majiir fixed this bug.
  19. I've heard good things about vlmc (downloads here), which is from the same people who created VLC media player, and runs on Windows, Mac and Linux. Also, on Linux only, OpenShot is good.
