  1. Since it's an unmodded game, try verifying your files through the source you bought it from, if they offer that option. Otherwise, we'll need more info:
  2. Last to post before it locks gets a prize. Probably just a bunch of likes, but still a prize.
  3. It will probably run slow, but yes, I think your machine can handle the stock game. Mods might be another question, as you will be limited by RAM. But to be honest, your machine is on the very low end of what can run KSP. Don't expect high frame rates or fast loading times (I used to have 20-30 minutes waits just to load the game), but it should be playable.
  4. I don't recall the title, and I have not read it myself, but it seems to come highly recommended. It's about the history of spaceflight and the various fuels used in it. Ignition!
  5. @AlamoVampire's ribbons still appear for me, and yes the numbers in their post are a timestamp, not part of the signature. From the comments above,It appears the site that creates the ribbons is offline. There is a mod, Final Frontier, that supplies similar ribbons for in game use. If you were inclined (as long as the mod license permitted this) you could extract the images from the mod and use them as part of your signature. And as this is about the forum, and not the game, this thread has been moved to the Kerbal Network.
  6. Congrats on the release! To comply with our add-on posting rules, @oyster_catcher, please include the license the mod is released under in the OP of the thread, and a link to the uncompiled source code, if any. Thanks!
  7. Going to jump around a bit... ping me please if they resume countdown.
  8. Must have been halftime... looks like another 45 minutes?
  9. t-2min That's some crappy weather, but they say it's good -whelp..... nevermind... hold at 1:53-
  10. I'm guessing we won't see many land landings in the future, just mainly barge landings. I would assume that a land landing would mean a lower payload, and that would indicate SpaceX had more capacity for that flight, and is therefore 'leaving money on the table' as it's called. Of course, a large lightweight payload would be a different story. And I'm still amazed at the barge landings. They know roughly (within a few hundred meters I would guess) where the booster will land, and they just stick a barge out there. And the booster finds it. Insane.
  11. Yeah... it's still doing it. If there was an answer earlier in the thread, if somebody would kindly point it out. Thanks.
  12. Moved to the Kerbal Network. I have no idea Trann. Will ask around.
  13. I don't think so, it's too rhythmic, and this is during the burn, so it wouldn't be irrelevant. (Clarifying: I'm referring to the second stage mylar shroud)
  14. I don't think so, it's diminished as it's increased altitude. It looks like a rhythmic pulsing of some off gas. So the air pressure early on collapses the shroud, giving the gas pulses more effect. Later on the shroud is inflated, and you can't notice them as much.
  15. What makes the mylar (?) shroud around the second stage engine (not the nozzle though) pulse like that?
  16. Nice little blurb on the experiments in the cargo. t-3min
  17. To be honest, the best security system I had was a German Shepherd. Very protective dog. If you weren't on "the list", you didn't get in my house. You could easily mix that with some surface mounted cameras, and skip the need for installing sensors in windows and doors. But, I do realize that's not what you are asking for.
