I'd guess since Trainspotting and model trains are such big hobby's, there would tend to be a lot of photos of trains, and since the numbers on the engines happen to be 4 digit numbers..... I'd suspect we'll see other similar trends as we continue.. And ohhhhhhh Kessler syndrome: 2251: Apparently Iridium-33 and Cosmos-2251 collided in 2009.

That's what I usually do, but mainly because I use MJ to automate my launches. I have done it manually, but it's a real pain to do so.,

Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical questions
Gargamel replied to DAL59's topic in Science & Spaceflight
What an odd value to set forth, why that? -
No you don't. At this point in the game, you should be pretty close to maxed out in the tech tree, so science returns are just a money/rep maker at this point. You could easily estimate how much you would return, and cheat that in. While this would still technically be cheating, I think it's way more realistic than cheating an orbit. I'm in the exact same boat btw.

Some pics of what you are doing exactly might help, but here's something thing to keep in mind: Minmus is inclined 6 degrees to Kerbin's Equator. So even if you line up your timing and altitude perfectly, you could literally fly right over minmus without getting an encounter, you'll be to far "north or south" of minmus. So during your mid course correction, adjust your inclination also by burning normal or anti normal as needed to meet up with the moon.

Add programable computers
Gargamel replied to XBOX-KERBAL1's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I had thought about that after posting, having seen their name. The console ports are so far behind the PC version that there a better things on the console wishlist first. -
Hard to say no to a NACA airfoil profile on the KSP Forums. NACA 2221: I wonder when the number itself as a prime will be the first google result.

For Questions That Don't Merit Their Own Thread
Gargamel replied to Skyler4856's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Probably bumping an older question... But there's a limit to how big of a gun that jeep can carry before it's suspension collapses. On a battleship, they'd just use that gun to wake the crew in the morning.... -
That is for low gravity bodies? I haven't tried it, but if your RCS has enough oomph to lift your parts around, and MJ doesn't try to fly through the moon, it should work, but I'd keep my hand on the stick....

Add programable computers
Gargamel replied to XBOX-KERBAL1's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
This is already easily doable with the KoS and KPRC (?) mods. While it is normally not the right answer for "please add X to stock", theses solutions do it so well, it would almost be a waste of resources for the devs to work on such a feature when other things are lacking. -
For Questions That Don't Merit Their Own Thread

It's just Newton's second law. It's the mass of the vehicle that determines how big a gun you can carry. A tank is heavy, but a battleship is even heavier, so they can carry even bigger guns. So what would be a main gun on a ship would send a tank flying just shooting it, let alone being able to move the dang thing to start with. So the bigger guns are consider the main weapons, regardless of the vehicle. -
There were a surprising number of New Years 2069 pics to choose from, plus a very inappropriate sci fi movie.... Gap noted @GRS

Oh, I was just kidding. Apparently this is not my day for jokes, as my girl also misinterpreted a joke I made earlier and is now kinda mad at me. 1823

It would, but you already have credit for a gap of 18, so they negate each other, and your name has been removed from the scoreboard. I'm kind of liking making up new rules as we go along. But your score's still there :P. None of the pics are really inspiring this time around.... so... 1801.

You know, I have no issue with this, as long as the people using it understand what it actually means. Yes, the world is loaded with the uninformed, but I like the phrase. Yup, but it's the dark side like Facial tissues are "Kleenex", adhesive bandages are "Band aids", and resealable plastic baggies are "ziplocks". Just like our sun is called The Sun, but another planet's sun is not our sun, yet to it, it is still The Sun. -
No Goliath thrust reverse. Action group bug?
Gargamel replied to Klapaucius's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Did you try building something new from scratch so see if the same bug exists? It might just be some weird glitch from importing an older craft?
