No. They considered it, but it never got included. There’s a couple things that hint at a story, but there is no official canon.

@Lisias I see you found it! I also see the picture has disappeared. It might take me a day or two, but I’ll see if I can find the original and do a better job hosting it.

Invisions website had a pretty good tutorial on how to set in-depth filters on the stream. I wrote up a little tutorial based on it ages ago, I think it’s in the “How to Forum” thread.

That would just add more burden to the moderation teams already hefty workload. The sub forum has been like that for a very long time, and we don’t see a need to change it now. The term exchange is used here as in a telephone exchange. People weren’t physically trading telephones, it was just a central location used for the routing of calls. In this case, it’s a central location where people can post both craft images and files. Since a gallery would imply images only, exchange is more fitting term.

Those would be….. drumroll…. Mods!

Speaking as a forum moderator and long time community member, that’s one of the reasons I asked you to write up your posts about Spacedock. I do not see us (the forum moderation team) taking any steps towards neglecting the modding the community at all. I cannot speak directly for the CM’s or devs, but every indication I have seen, including their officially posted statements on the matter, is that they have no intention of abandoning the forums modding community. In fact since at least a few former modders have joined the dev team, I would suspect there’s a chance the modding community will be stronger than ever.

Please report threads that need merged or redirected, instead of posting in thread. It keeps the resulting merged thread less confusing. But alas, not this merge.

That link works for me on mobile, although we’re still having intermittent format issues from the theme implementation.

Yes, the forum search function can be painful to use. But somewhere in it’s interface there is an option to search only in a sub forum. But even then, depending on what you’re searching for, you might need another search engine just to narrow down the results. So all we can ask is that you make your best effort to find a related thread and post it there. If not, starting a new thread won’t hurt anybody. Hopefully, the sub forum is just an adjunct until a more robust public bug tracker is in place.
