Ergo, @Snark is a Kerbal.

Once I get back to a keyboard and not on mobile I’ll take a better look at the different options for this thread and prune/merge as needed.

Yes, without enough snacks and water they will wilt. More like a hibernation state. Perfect for space travel. (I had something around here about pseudo invisible predators trying to burrow into their under ground dens, hence the large heads and hibernations, it made sense then)

No, no tans. As fan canon says, they’re descended from a plant species, so part of their energy source is from photosynthesis. So they just absorb most of the light and reflect the rest. Similarly, they don’t grow beards per se, but sprout little bits of thorny stubble that looks like a beard. Which I guess makes it a beard.

Thank you @kerbiloid, said posts have been moved into a Fusion specific thread.

Since this is a significant discussion about fusion, I’d like to split them off into an existing thread, anybody have a good link for one of our fusion mega threads?

Everyday Astronaut is going to the moon
Gargamel replied to Gargamel's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Since none of us were part of the vetting process, it’s hard to say who got a post for what reason. I don’t know if any of the other people mentioned even applied, some probably did. Of those, some might have been ruled out medically right off the bat. Others might have made it further along and then ultimately declined due to family and business concerns, cause ya know, there’s a significant chance of death here. This probably wasn’t their first choice for a team, but it is probably the best team they could make that fit the requirements for the task. On a side note, as a moderator, let’s keep the starship specific discussion over in the spacex thread, and the EDA discussion over here. I know, that’s a hard line to find, given the topics, but we don’t need cross posting. -
Well now I’m dizzy. Very cool

KSP version advice?
Gargamel replied to Andrw's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
Moved to tech support modded. When you say too much space, what do you mean? How much do you have? How much is it using? What’s your log file? -
Why I don't want interstellar travel
Gargamel replied to garwel's topic in Prelaunch KSP2 Discussion
Hey guess what? Again we had to lock a thread because people can’t play nice. -
Can I use A.I.R.B.R.A.KE.S on Kerbin?
Gargamel replied to RandomGrape's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Moved to gameplay questions. I don’t see why you can’t. Try and find out! -

[New] Space Launch System / Orion Discussion Thread

I forget what they said specifically, but LOS should start about 1220 EST -
Clearly Morocco was fed up with their Iberian neighbor’s shenanigans.

Holy cow! What a game! What a comeback!

It'd be weird if every time someone was born, they could immediately look up and see a solar eclipse. And then immediately come to the forums to tell us about it. And then get mad when we all start singing. ...turn around...

For Questions That Don't Merit Their Own Thread
Gargamel replied to Skyler4856's topic in Science & Spaceflight
While the numbers I found varied, mainly based on publishing date, there only seems to have been 100 or so gravitational wave events recorded so far. In what, less than ten years? On one hand, that’s not a lot. On the other, that’s a whole lot of them for something that was only theoretical. But space is big. And there’s many many stars out there. There’s always some colliding that are big enough to be detected. It’s basically just the law of large numbers. -

@AtomicTech your question has been split off into it's own thread.
