  1. This question has been split off from the thread it was in and moved to add on discussion.
  2. Moved to Gameplay questions. Some pics of your craft and screen when it happens would help.
  3. I missed this the first time around.... I can't wait for the the news reports to start flowing from there. The US, and probably most of the world, will be really confused for a bit.
  4. Love to see another upset in the upcoming Crotia / Brazil match. Right @Shpaget?
  5. A number of posts have been edited or removed. If you don't agree with a statement, please don't resort to name calling. People have their own opinions, and by a variety of circumstances, those opinions may differ from yours. Address those opinions with facts, figures, and references. We also don't need people making arguments that have already been repeatedly made just to get the last word in. Debate and discourse is good and healthy, arguing for the sake of it is not.
  6. There might be some discrepancies in how people are interpreting the question. @Spacescifi, are you asking about one engine with multiple nozzles, or multiple engines each with one nozzle?
  7. As Vanamonde says, ships with lots of parts can cause drops in fps. There really isn’t a “simple” space station with few parts. They really add up quick. And as they said, that machine is newer than most machines that run ksp acceptably. Giving you a hard number will be tricky unless somebody wants to sit through a benchmarking, which most people won’t do with vanilla ksp, as the people who would be willing to benchmark ksp just mod the hell out of it. Simple answer is, will it run KSP? Yes, but it’s not a gaming machine so we really don’t know how well.
  8. That’s nice, inclined to build one myself.
  9. Welcome to the forums @Tian Wen! Please include an English translation to any posts outside the International Sub forum. Thanks! 欢迎来到论坛@田文! 请在国际分论坛之外的任何帖子中附上英文翻译。 谢谢!
  10. SKA: Construction to begin on world's biggest telescope https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-63836496
  11. Oooohhh... I can't wait for the videos from people explaining what they actually did and not what the headlines are reporting. There's always another couple layers to stories like these.
  12. It’s one of the (many) reasons for crazy cat ladies. And gents, but I believe females are more susceptible to the parasite.
  13. And so you are! But alas, it is not a problem, we shall move this question over to the sub forum best suited for it!
  14. Actually, I would think it is. Again, please quit trying to pass off misleading statements as facts.
  15. Perhaps the fact the game hasn't been released yet should have been your first clue.
  16. *cough* Says the guy with no avatar *cough*
  17. @JoeSchmuckatelli, I’ve had that same avatar for ~15 years over various forums. It was a custom drawing by another member on those forums. Felt it was time for a change, probably only short term. Ran some suggestions through an AI generator, got some good results, picked one I liked.
  18. I’m tempted to split this one off into its own thread already, it should be a good discussion. This doesn’t directly answer your question, sorry, but it’s closely related and you’ll probably find it interesting.
  19. Having played with a variety of different LED's for a few projects I've made, I can tell you that programmable RGB LED's are almost the identical footprint as "regular" LED's, and assuming these aren't being controlled by a rheostat knob, but some sort of microcontroller, the code to make the lights change colors is, and I use this term truthfully, is pretty trivial. It actually makes sense to have color changing lighting in a "long term" vessel such as this to help with astronaut sleep cycles. At the very least, it's just as easy to do it as not. But yeah, I get your point . Cause yeah, I'd be doing all the psychedelic color schemes I could too while there's nobody on board to annoy.
  20. If you guys like this thread (and obviously a number of us do), and listen to podcasts, Dear Hank and John (Hank Green of SciSchow and John Green author of The Fault in Our Stars) is a good one to check out. I wouldn't be surprised if Hank is a member here on the forums, and probably loves this thread already. But the show is basically this thread, in podcast form. They get random questions from the listeners and they try to answer them. It's a not very serious, semi comedic, Q/A podcast, but with serious answers to questions. It's great for just relaxing and listening while driving.
