Ehhh.... Doesnt really work in 1.0.5 I fixed the node orientation, node size, undid surface attach... For some reason, as sson as you select it in the editor, FPS drops BIG time, and everything gets laggy BAD... Launching doesnt help... FPS is dismal... I dont know if there is supposed to be a righht-click menu for this or not, but there's not... I wonder why staging was decided upon, instead of using the right-click menu on this? Anyway, nothing works to inflate it...

[1.02] Contract Pack: Mission Based R&D (v 0.2.2)
Stone Blue replied to klefenz's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Please dont make statements like this unless you are the mod developer, or have been in contact with the dev, or someone else has made an "official" statemant, verified, that mod development has been ceased. Do you even know FOR SURE that it does NOT work in 1.0.4 or 1.0.5? There have been many old mods that have been picked up by other people who came across them somehow... Just declaring a mod "dead", out of the blue, just because the thread hasnt had any activity in awhile, doesnt really do any good... -
Ok... Guess I should have added that I would stick with the Nvidia, since Nvidia seems to better supported on Linux for one thing, if one were to ever think about dual-booting Linux... Also, it seems to me that posting that general statements are useless, is pretty useless in and of itself...

Sorry... too lazy to explain it, as its harder to explain it, than to actually fix...
-
More than likely, the .cfgs just need the attachment nodes to be edited... Pretty easy to do...

Not at all... I'm just saying the game originally started out with a dull, cartoony look, and has pretty much kept that... I guess I cant get a vision of how the current "cartoony" parts would look anything but ridiculous, all shiny, and crisp... Nor how those parts would fit in with the planetary textures... Especially when KSP is run with minimal graphics settings on older or low-end computers... I mean, c'mon, KSP may be a 3D game, but its graphics-style has ALWAYS been very early-2000-ish...Iguess what I'm saying is, if you want shinier, metallic textures, to make them more realistic-looking, then I dont think they would fit in with the rest of the "environmental" textures... Now if they want to make the stock game more like using Scatterer or EVE, etc, then MAYBE....

[Plugin/Parts] Kerbal Foundries - Continuation [Latest: 1.9g]
Stone Blue replied to Gaalidas's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
@Gaalidas So, is this an official release? Just wondering since it is just listed as v1.9, which is a much older version number from lo-fi's era, before the letters were added to that release: Kerbal Foundries -
There's also this: PWB Fuel Balancer

@cain546 Any chance to host this somewhere else, since KerbalStuff is no more?... SpaceDock.info might be a good choice..

Any greenhouses for TAC life support?
Stone Blue replied to ToukieToucan's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
Supposedly this one works with either TAC or USI: SETI Greenhouse There's also this one, that reuses a stock texture, so it should be pretty easy on already heavily modded installs: Munseeker Mk1 Greenhouse There's this update of Whyren's old Snacks mod, if we can get cain546 to get it back up on a functioning mirror:- 1 reply

@Olympic1 Might I suggest a brand new release thread by you, when you release the update?... Continuing with this original thread will be misleading to people, who see the [0.24.0] in the title, and nobody will realise all the work you've done to update and re-release the mod for 1.0.5/1.1...
-
I guess just a personal preference, but I'd stick with Nvidia graphics...
-
YES!!.... MOAR choices on large parts is always a good thing... So, is this a hint of possible things to come?

Maritime Pack & Submarine Pack 2.0 Dev Page
Stone Blue replied to BT Industries's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
I think as far as getting the files, wont you need the actual source code for the plugins?... That means just the regular copies of the released mod wont be enough? -
You have the latest version, right? v3.4.6 Double check the install. Make sure the folder is /GameData/FShangarExtender There should be just 4 files in that folder: a .dll, two .pngs, and a settings.txt Are you running any other mods that have "camera" functions?

@HunterFTP Try this: https://remotetechnologiesgroup.github.io/RemoteTech/guide/settings/

[1.0.4] Smart Parts v1.6.6 | DDS Textures and Bug Fixes | July 5
Stone Blue replied to Firov's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
@Frederf Stock parachute, or RealChutes? Its too bad both mod devs @dtobi & @Firov seem to be M.I.A. -
I'll also add, dont forget a couple of the biggest reasons people seem NOT to like Curse/Curseforge, and why they seemed to like KS, is the cluttered interface, and all the extra "fluff" on Curse's pages... KerbalStuff had a simple, elegant interface.... for a more civilized age...

Why navy aviators consider them as better than pilots?
Stone Blue replied to Pawelk198604's topic in The Lounge
^^ That... I used to have some interaction with some maintenance guys from the Blue Angels... And THEY are just about as bad...
