[1.12.x] TAC - Life Support v0.18.0 - Release 19th Sep 2021
Stone Blue replied to JPLRepo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
This? -
Thanx... After I posted, I tried PF and the mod I'm trying to get working, in a 1.7.3 install, but my install ended up getting corrupted :face_palm: ... I'll poke around my issue some moar... Moar than likely, its outdated .cfgs ... Just wanted some confirmation whether PF was working for others or not in 1.8.1 vOv

Extract the contents of the .zip to your main KSP install folder (NOT the .zip file itself), either by right clicking on the .zip, selecting "Extract...", and browse to your main KSP folder, *OR*, dbl-click on the .zip file, and when you see GameData folder, drag/drop that folder to your main KSP folder (I usually have two Explorer windows open, one to select/open the .zip in, the other with my KSP install folder open so I can just darg/drop across the two windows... Also, if on Windows, you should get this popup window asking for confirmation: If you dont get that popup, whichever way you do it, then you put it in the wrong folder. When you open your /GameData/ folder, you should have /Squad and /TarsierSpaceTech together... i dont know how to explain it clearer than that Then, make sure you extract the ModuleManager.dll in your /GameData/ folder with Squad & Tarsier, also... its required for tarsier. If you want any of the recommended mods, install them the same way I described, hopefully they will all package their release .zips by following the accepted "standard", method of packaging with /GameData/<mod_folder_name> folder structure... vOv

[1.2.X] Horizon Aeronautics - Zenit 3SLB Redux
Stone Blue replied to Delta_8930's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Hmmm.. AnimatedDecouplers is in the HA package I have... I did grab the latest version, rather than the one in the package, tho...Mebbe I'll try removing it... vOv -
Thank You @Gargamel
-
Thank you, @Fan777 ... Actually, I ended up installing that, just to get a semi-usable fairing. However, I really need an updated PF .dll, for use with fairings already setup to use it. I dont need new or different fairings, I have one I would like to get working again with PF. Procedural-type fairings involve voodoo I'm not even faintly familiar with, so i was really hoping to avoid having learn how to rewrite the cfg, and possibly even having to modify the model, to work with a different plugin. vOv

Sooooo.... Just wondering if *anyone* is working on a 1.8.1 update for *any* of the bazzillion Procedural Fairings forks out there... Kinda surprised theres been no talk of 1.8.1 compatability on *any* of the PF threads... vOv Yes, I've tried @Kerbas_ad_astra's fork, based on v1.6.2 of this thread (there were notes of 1.8 on the repo, tho it looks like nothing moar than .version and README changes? vOv), as well as v1.6.2 from the KSP-RO repo linked in the OP... Doesnt seem to be any recent (since 1.8.1) activity on *any* of the forks I checked (except Kerbas')... vOv Granted, I've been trying fairings from an old mod, that uses PF as a dependency, so I'm not sure if its an issue with PF in 1.8.1, or outdated cfg keys in said mod, yet.... Just wondering if anyone has (any) version of PF working in 1.8.1... vOv
-
@Eskandare I'm seeing the same issues as RobertME in the KSP.log... I get the explanation you gave. I use my KSP.log ALOT, to debug my installs and to tweak/fix mods that are throwing stuff in the log. I know the KK stuff can be ignored, but there *is* an awful lot of it I know it would add a dependency, but would GER_Space's Advanced Textures be useful at all to kill off all these stock asset errors? vOv
-
Yup... was yesterday evening for me, too... also no discernable updates/changes for anything on my end... vOv EDIT: Soo, not only the issue with the Condensed/Expanded buttons, but theres no longer a "Load Moar <stuff>" button at the bottom of the page, to load topics further back than an hour or two... vOv

[1.2.X] Horizon Aeronautics - Zenit 3SLB Redux
Stone Blue replied to Delta_8930's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Mecripp, just wondering if you still had this RSS patch for Horizon Aeronautics still kicking around? The link seems DED... Also, has anyone tried this mod since 1.4.5? I'm trying it out in 1.8.1, but having a major issue with the Standard Payload Fairing... When decoupling a pair, its exploding the whole top of my rocket I installed the latest AnimatedDecouplers v1.6.2, Procedural Fairings v1.6.2 from KerbasAdAstra's repo (looks like a possible update for 1.8.0+), and latest SmokeScreen. Just trying to figure out if the issue is with *this* mod, before I go poking at AnimatedDecouplers and/or Procedural Fairings threads... vOv Whoa!! ... @Delta_8930 Hey, I just saw you posted just yesterday after a long hiatus... Any plans to poke at this mod again? I'm currently testing it out in a lightly modded install, and specifically launching this using KerbinSide Remastered and @Eskandare's Oceania addon (is the ships from Sea Launch) -
"A Picture is worth a thousand words..." This is what it is *supposed* to look like for me in Condensed format: I'm on a laptop, I have poor vision, and prefer not much clutter on webpages, so I have always browsed the forums with the "Condensed" setting, so it just gives me thread titles only, not the post previews... On a refresh/reload of my Unread Threads page, all of a sudden, everything went expanded, and then switching between the Condensed/Expanded buttons did nothing, everything stays expanded. Again, not sure if its just me, or if something happened with the forum... vOv ... maybe an update, or a hiccup... But at this point, with no other responses, but yours, I have a feeling its *not* the forums?... vOv EDIT: OH... and I even uninstalled Stylish, which removes my dark forum style, and the behaviour was the same... I dont have many FF add-ons, but i disabled or removed them all, just to see if it *was* something that simple on my end... vOv I will probably poke around the issue some moar today... vOv EDIT2: Again disabled all 4 of my FF addons, completely cleaned my cache, and same issue... Then tried the page in a fresh, clean install of Chrome (no addons), both logged in and logged out of the forum... Same behaviour... Not so sure it *is, just me*, anymoar... Happens with *any* selection listed under the "Activity" tab in the main header

Is it just me, or did the Condensed/Expanded buttons for displaying threads just stop working? ie Condensed doesnt work... everything is expanded with the Condensed button selected... vOv

[1.7.x-1.3.1] Xen’s Planet Collection Revived
Stone Blue replied to Mythical Donuts's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Kewl... i didnt even know there was a version newer than 1.1.1 available As to SpaceDock, if you can get Mythical Donuts to agree to it, I'm positive a SD mod listing can be set up to have multiple contributors listed and to have access... (makes it easy for mods with multiple collaborators, or people to hand off "continuations" of their mods to someone else, without having to make a whole new SD listing )... LinuxGuruGamer has managed this with a lot of the mods he has taken over... VITAS and the whole SD team are pretty good to work with. -
[1.12.x] Hide Empty Tech Tree Nodes (for modded tech trees) v1.3.2
Stone Blue replied to ev0's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I agree with what eV0 said... 1st thing to try would be update ModuleManager to v4.1.3. (v4.0.3 is for KSP 1.7.3) ...When you do, delete the 4 MM files that show right below the MM .dll Also, next thing, is, what exactly is in the /! inactivemods/ folder? I ask, because during KSP loading, ANYTHING and EVERYTHING in /GameData/ will try to be loaded. Its best to move anything you dont want KSP to try to load completely out of your main /<KSP_install>/ folder... ie I would just move that inactive mods completely out of your install... no telling what in there could be currently be giving you problems, or at the least, eating up RAM & VRAM (textures, especially).... -
[1.7.x-1.3.1] Xen’s Planet Collection Revived
Stone Blue replied to Mythical Donuts's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Any chance to get this added to the SpaceDock listing https://spacedock.info/mod/2136/XPC Revived, or at least a direct github link for non-CKAN users? Pretty pleeze? EDIT: just re-skimmed the whole thread, and found dropbox link... but SD update and updated OP pleeze? -

Stone Blue replied to KillAshley's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Wow.. i see theres lots of branches on Lisias' repo... What about changes he made specifically for his KSP 1.4.5 release? vOv https://github.com/net-lisias-kspu/New_Horizons/releases -
[1.3] [Kopernicus] New Horizons v2.0.1 [2JUN17] - It's Back!
Stone Blue replied to KillAshley's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Oh...yeah... I know how *that* can end up No problem... I'm sure you really needed *moar* things to add to your plate... Also note, I know versioning is tricky with diverging/overlapping forks, but Gregrox and Lisias both released unoffcial packages, with subsequent version number changes... if possible, going forward, mebbe somehow keep leapfrogging version numbers, or something, so peeps know which of yall's forks are in order? vOv -
[1.3] [Kopernicus] New Horizons v2.0.1 [2JUN17] - It's Back!
Stone Blue replied to KillAshley's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Just wondering if you have/have not taken a look at Gregrox's & Lisias' forks to see if they have anything worth incorporating into your fork? vOv They both seem to have had recent changes on their repos, while KerbasAdAstra's is quite older... -
[1.3.0] Kerbal Engineer Redux 1.1.3.0 (2017-05-28)
Stone Blue replied to cybutek's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
@jrbudda Not sure if you are still around, but tagging you as an FYI on this post by LGG... Might be something for you to look at if you continue to provide updates. vOv THANX for what you've done so far -
[1.12.x] Hide Empty Tech Tree Nodes (for modded tech trees) v1.3.2
Stone Blue replied to ev0's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Sounds like you're grabbing the file from Github... Use the SpaceDock link instead. The one you're grabbing from Github has extra stuff in it that you dont need/want... ie the source folder... Inside your /GameData/ folder, you should just end up with a /HideEmptytechTreenodes/ folder, which has four subfolders, and only one file in each sub-folder. -
