Heh... yeah... Needing a mod just to "clean-up" a mod, just so *that* mod, supports a specific *other* mod... :roll_eyes:

I dont know... theres a ModuleDataTransmitter in the cfg, and theres also an animated antenna mesh on it I've been waiting for 1.4 to drop, as we are supposed to get stock texture switching... so there may not be a need for FS/IFS/B9/WBT switching patches

I'm pretty sure he means all the config info for the part is copied into, and at the bottom of, the bluedog_Atlas_Decoupler1875m.cfg file... Open that file in a text editor, and scroll down till you come across the second "PART{ }" section... should be labeled named with " bluedog_Atlas_Decoupler25m "... You can basically combine as many part config files into one .cfg file as you want, this way... I wouldnt recommend it tho... Some mods do it with very similar parts, for good "reasons"...

Yes... sadly that is one of many things this mod has been lacking... IVAs and a texture redo would be awesome additions, too... -

yup... thats why i only have a "beta" version of DeadSkins, only available thru a link to my GoogleDrive on the DS thread... the placement of the light sources is hardcoded into the Aviationlights plugin itself...and I'm not a coder, and I didnt think it was enuff of an issue to really bother MOARdV with looking into...as warning, it *might* break existing crafts that use DS parts... I dont play career, so I havent tested it for that.. As to the icons in the editor, for DeadSkins, the textures included little colored dot stickers, on the rear face of the part... so thats one option, is to add a small texture sheet to the existing AL models... OR, the other, is to add support for the Part Icon plugin, which orients the existing models so the lens is facing the camera, instead of the back of the parts... either would be up to MOARdV to decide on... either could be done fairly quick and dirty right now... but it sounds like we may be looking at possibly fundamental changes for an update, anyway... we'll see.- 799 replies

Well, I know she's pretty much done and prolly wants to finish Redux up, cuz its been just "sssoooooo" much fun doing it, but I know she prolly wants to move on to something else to take a break from Redux... But IMHO, it seems such a small request, that could always be put on the shelf for an update sometime later... -

Soooo... on the possibe rescale... I'm thinking maybe 3.75m for the K-130, Medium Crew and Cargo Fuselage, and would include the Cargo Ramp Tail if it wasnt broken... The 737 and V-22 Osprey Cockpits stay at 2.5m... Considering making dupes of the Medium Crew and Cargo Fuselage (and Cargo Tail Ramp, if it wasnt broken), to stay @ 2.5m for use with the 737 & V-22 Cockpits... I'd like to scale up the Kerbeye... 1.25m seems small, yet 2.5m seems big... but personally, I would rather have it too big @ 2.5, than too small @ 1.25... Anyone know if Squad is adding airplane compatable 1.875m parts for the DLC/1.4? I havent kept up on dev notes... Or if any other airplane mods have anything 1.875m sized?? Same with the KRJ line... thats the odd one @ 2m currently... same consideration as Kerbeye... I'd like the KRJ line @ 1.875, for a "private jet", medium kinda size... but if there arent other parts to support 1.875, I'd end up prolly making them 2.5... Overall, suggestions welcome... i used to be into planes more, aboot a year ago, cuz my son only did atmo craft in KSP back then... So my recollection of other airplane mods is quite hazy, thanks to old age and CRS... Lemme know soon, cuz the Med Cargo Fuselage collider issue is fixed... and Im working on another little "perk" for an update, that i should be able to get out in the next day or so...
