Nate is RockeT, because he's taking KSP 2 to the stars!

Marketing is releasing content though. And faking trailers is nothing new, people do that all the time. Honestly, I'm surprised it took people this long to start doing it. But it all serves to create more hype for KSP 2, so let them go all out. ----------------------------------- These content creators get to play and record footage for KSP 2, at an event hosted by the European Space Agency, they're catered to with a meal, in a flippin planetarium(!), and while they are eating said meals, they also get to witness history in the making as the largest rocket in the world, with the most engines in the world, has it's first ever full 33 31* engine test fire? Man, I'm kind of jealous of these guys. I'm glad for them though, they all deserve it! *1 engine manually shut down before test start and computer shut down one at ignition.

So, looks like the KSP 2 team showed the live stream of Super Heavy 33 31 engine test fire, while everyone was at a dinner event.

You read me correctly. We will be getting content creator KSP 2 footage before EA. That is IF my assumption is correct that this is indeed Intercept giving CC's access to the game at this event. Don't take what I say as law. I'm only guessing! Of course, there's a lot of evidence to support my theory. Gaming PCs EVERYWHERE. KSP 2 Insider. KSP 1 Content Creators at a KSP 2 event.

We also know that on Discord it was confirmed that CC's will get early access AND be able to release early footage, so I think it's safe to assume that this is the early CC content we were promised. It's a shame ShadowZone couldn't be there. It probably means exactly what the title says. "Insider" means they get early access to content. As for the ESA label, I'm pretty sure it says something like "Presented by ESA" or "Presented and Sponsored by ESA." The text is too small and blurry to read.

Did they host a content creator preview showing/playing at one of EVA'S facilities?
-
Hmmm, I guess it is more a fuel issue than a speed issue. Yeah, fuel/range issue not speed issue. Don't know what I was thinking earlier.
-
Not really, not unless you want to do really really slow interstellar transfers. I doubt Orion Drive can get up to even 1% the speed of light.

I did also mention the 1060, which is also low end. And minimum specs is just the lowest graphics card that's recommended. The game will still run on lower end or even older hardware. It won't be that great. But you'll be able to do it. I just expect the lowest that Intercept will recommend as minimum, will be the 1060, or AMD equivalent.

@EStreetRockets I was wondering, do you plan on making the Shuttle ET wetlab concept? if not, could we get a flat bottom Shuttle ET so we can kit bash one together? STS External Tank Station (astronautix.com) etwic88.jpg (317×240) (astronautix.com)

If only we knew the exact location they took the KSP 2 shot from we could go and compare.
-
When can we expect these to come online though? Before EA or at the same time?
-
I don't think we've seen rocket launch smoke near the pad to be able to see a shadow, unless I'm forgetting a screenshot. If you're going to make claims, at least provide proof of a Beta shot that you claim doesn't have shadows from the smoke. And if the beta doesn't have smoke, it's been said a million times by now, not every dev needs high resolution graphics. There are several builds that these images were screen capped from.

3 to 4 months is adequate time imo for spoilers to become non-spoilers.
-
The forum has a "Spoiler" rule in which you have to discuss stuff inside a spoiler box. Like this: As to how long those features stay spoiler territory? Probably a few months at least.
