  1. More or less, possibly. Again, there are no set times that we know of, and any internal deadlines will remain non-public information until Intercept decides to announce a release date for the update, if they decide to do so. Could be 6 months from now, it could be 6 years.
  2. No one can say. It could take 1 month; it could take 6 months. It also depends on the milestone and how much time they want to spend on feedback and updates for it. The science update for instance, might take 2 months to release after EA, and then they might spend a month or 2 tuning it. So that will make the colony update release in about 3 to 4 months. (Assuming it is ready for release, if not, it could take more time) The colony update with then probably spend 3 to 4 months in feedback/update cycle. So on and so forth. Ultimate answer, no one can tell, not even the devs. Though, I'm sure the devs have internal deadlines/targets, but I doubt they will release those to the public. Squad found out the hard way why giving out deadlines to the public is a bad idea.
  3. That is one possibility, though a little unlikely. Sinkholes require there to be voids in the ground, voids that are usually the result of water making a hole, filling it, then being drained, then the ground caving in because of the ceiling being unable to support itself. Sinkholes also look more like pits or craters rather than a straight down hole. Moho being so close to Kerbol, that's a little impossible.
  4. Good one lol but in seriousness, volcanos don't go to the core. They just go to the mantle or a hot spot. Inb4 someone says just remove the mantle and outer core and you'll have your 'hole to the core.' I wonder what reason they will give for the mohole's existence. There's nothing except high speed impact that I can think of that can possibly create that hole. Oh... except... maybe a high speed impact of something like the cigar asteroid? That was then pulled out of it by some unknown force? I don't know, just spit balling here. Maybe they'll change the mohole from a hole that goes to the core to a hole that goes all the way through the planet.... no wait, that wouldn't work, gravity should crush it back into a ball instead of keeping it a toroidal planet. Truly the only thing I can think of is either a very large cylinderal object or a very small very high speed object hitting the planet. As for why there's no traditional crater, the dust and debris could have filled it in. Well, we'll find out in 11 days, 11 hours and 40 minutes from now.
  5. I guess a really high speed impact can cause a hole that deep. But, that's like, really high speed. A low percentage of C I would think. And a tiny object. Like pebble sized or baseball sized.
  6. I don't know of any "natural geological formation" that creates a hole to the core of a planet, but anything is possible in the universe. I mean, iron rain, diamond rain, etc.
  7. I do recall something about the moholw being untouched, or at least kept in a slightly changed form It's probably no longer a cone and instead a "real" hole.
  8. I don't know, I think that one was kind of clever. Spelling XBOX in acronyms. X Box One X. Flippin clever if you ask me. Anyway, that's a bit off topic. I don't see KSP 2 ever coming to Xbox One X/S. They're too underpowered. The Series X/S has like double to triple the power of the One X/S (Depending on the game and other factors). They're also old/outdated consoles. If they did support the One X/S, they'd probably have to support PS4 Pro too, which spreads the team out even further. Unless they outsource it like Squad did for KSP 1. That and both last gen consoles are reaching EOL support by their parent companies. Sony just shut down the PS3 network last year. I expect PS4 network to go this year or next.
  9. I'm half tempted to post the video, but I'm afraid it might violate the rules. I don't know.
  10. I wonder why KSP deleted that image. Could it be that it had a spoiler in it? Jokes aside, I do seriously wonder what we weren't supposed to see. Was it something of ESA's that was shown or something of KSP 2 that was shown?
  11. I don't expect the game to run super well out of the gate. It's EA. Poor performance is kind of expected. I will be pleasantly surprised if I can build 500 part ships day 1. I do expect performance to improve with each passing month tho.
  12. "British" as an accent doesn't include Wales (Welsh accent) or Scotland (Scottish accent). And it helps people instantly recognize the difference between the British English and American English. I know people say "American" accent, but you could use "English" to describe an American accent which always confused me.
  13. I'm not that worried about it. I tend to stay off multiplayer in games because all mp experiences kind of ruin the mood for me. That being said, there should definitely be text chat and I would like a form of in game voice chat so if I play with friends, I don't have to have some program up taking valuable cpu realistate. But I won't be bummed about it if there is no system in game because be have other programs to serve the function.
  14. Morse code using rocket engines. Or play sherades with the new emoji system.
  15. This... is true.... hmmm. It looks like they all have a checklist of stuff they can do. Everyone has a black piece of paper or something with writing on it. Probably tells them what they can and cannot do and in what order they should be done. Or it might just be a list of dos and donts.
  16. I know, but I have little experience with Ray Traced games so, that's why I was asking.
  17. Not really, no, but I'd just thought I'd share since we were talking about NDAs earlier. Plus, it kind of gives a timeline on when to expect content. Because now we know they can't share anything instantly.
  18. I mean, I guess you're right? But at the same time, they could show off parts that might be better to be seen in person for the first time.
  19. Main menu shows off crafts, crafts that might have parts we might have not seen released to the public yet.
  20. Have we seen the main menu before? Not sure we have. I don't think so and would consider that a tiny bit spoilery. (edit) As to how Main menu is a spoiler, the main menu is showing off crafts. The Crafts may have parts that no publically released image have shown. And I guess this isn't really a spoiler, but you can make out a lot from just zooming in, but I guess zoomed out it's not spoilers. My apologizes @MARL_Mk1, I jumped the gun a little. In other discussion, not sure that the "Cinematic" Computer is a cinematic. I think it's just the dude playing around with camera shots. Though, a short 3 to 5 second fly around cinematic of your rocket or plane might be nice in some cases. Obviously, it's a feature that would need a toggle so people can turn it off. Also, is it just me, or do the reflections and light in the "cinematic" shot look a little ray traced? Or is that just the PBR reflections? It might just be me, but the lightning seems more than standard lightning.
  21. You can clearly see game footage on some of the screens. Don't underestimate the power of the pixel analyzers. Also, "Excited as hell guy" is definitely a spoiler. Can't believe that was shown. I'm really upset that I didn't get to experience that for myself. Smh.
  22. Lots of multiplayer games don't have in-game voice chat. And really, in 2023, everyone and their dog should already have Discord, Skype, Zoom, or whatever their preferred voice chat is.
