  1. @Rodger I just noticed this, but the top half of the S-IVA (S-IV-2200) doesn't have any fuel switching.
  2. One of three ways: 1) You can stick a rover on the Truck, as intended, then dock the CSM to the rover. 2) Totally unmanned Truck. It wouldn't stay inside the S-IVB stage, it would detach and fly on its own. 3) The CSM and Truck would travel separately to the Moon (Mun in our case) via same launch or separate launches. They would then rendezvous in orbit of the Moon/Mun. IRL, the Apollo crew would then remote guide the truck down to landing via orbital radio control. The truck would then wait for the NEXT lunar landing crew, as the crew in the rendezvous CSM that piloted it down would have gone home after probably sometime in lunar orbit without having landed on the Moon themselves. In KSP, you could EVA over to the truck and let a Kerbal pilot it down to the surface. Just make sure you have a base established with a way for them to get back home first. Edit: The LM Truck has more than enough Delta V to make it to circularize around the Mun, I did so at about 16KM, and then head on down to the surface. 274 M/S left in the tanks. KSP says that's about 47 seconds of fuel. Mechjeb concurs with that estimate at around 46.7 seconds.
  3. Yes. I know. I was hinting at that with the phrase "It just wasn't a tower." Ejection seats are an LES. Launch Escape System.
  4. What you mean? Gemini did have an LES. It just wasn't a tower. And it was only useful in the first minute or so of flight. Also, they didn't need the LES. Titan was the safest rocket in the world, just like the Space Shuttle. ./s
  5. Did you download the release or the dev version? The dev version is the one with the shiny parts. Click the Github Link Click "Code" in the top left corner Click the Green "<> Code" button Click "Download Zip"
  6. I was using Centaur I, so maybe it was a little heavy. I didn't realize the stage was that small. Then again, I was probably assuming that J-1A/U used the same upper stage as Galazy Express, which is basically a methalox Centaur from the looks of it. Also, that looks like an Agena engine bell in the diagram.
  7. July 4th, 2030 Lock The Air In Lunar Gateway Airlock Flown by Aardvark 2 Tug and SRB-X 4/3/T2/CG' Lunar Gateway Airlock added to LSISS. This technically completes the International side. I'll add Dragon-XL, HTV-X and Orion off screen. Full album: Imgur: The magic of the Internet
  8. You should ping @Beale when quoting me. That way your question doesnt get missed by them. I'm not on the Tantares team.
  9. The engine placement is correct. See below. MEK used longer narrower engine sections than Aelita. (And I know they're both MEK, I'm just using different names for simplicity sake)
  10. It's already added lol. Check the github, it's one of the commits to the dev branch. And actually, Rodger teased VABO a few pages back.
  11. June 16th, 2030 That's One Small Step For Man Lockheed HLV Flown by HLV Tug and SLS Blk 2 Cargo Lockheed HLV joins that station. Full album: Imgur: The magic of the Internet
  12. @benjee10 Most of the Lockheed HLV parts have a temperature limit of 500 K, which is kind of low. The parts tend to sit around 300 K, which sets off temperature gauge's warning. Shouldn't the parks be 1500 K or something around that?
  13. @Rodger The methalox RL-10 is stuck on the RL-10B-2 model. Which is strange because it doesn't even have that model selectable.
  14. Ah. Gotcha. So, 1.14 for the 9th huh? A lofty goal. Well, maybe not. Everything is pretty much finished right? It's just touch up and bug fixing at this point?
