Inside KSP_Data and in the file "sharedassets0.assets". You'll need a tool called UnityAssetExplorer to grab them.

I've been searching through all the asset libraries with that exact tool! I was curious as to which one it was most likely in. Sweet! EDIT: Yep it's in there.

xD that's a fair deal! I just got my own settings for the Skipper done. I copied the Kerbolox-Upper config, renamed it "Kerbolox-Upper2", and then replaced all instances of Kerbolox-Upper with Kerbolox-Upper2 inside the config. And then for some fine tuning I added offset to "plume" and shifted it up slightly. The only thing I wish I knew how to do is shrink the starting particles. I'm not sure which param I should edit to make the effects start smaller. Could you tell me/give me an example of what I should change to do this? - The main reason why I want the engines to all have matching effects is because there is only one form of propellant in KSP, and all the engines burn the same fuel. Thus I'd want them all to have the same engine effects. It isn't too hard to manually swap things though so I'm fine doing it mahself. I did it with HotRockets when it wasn't updated. RealPlumes is prettier though. ^-^ -
I'm not sure if it would be useful for use in blender, but here are planet textures that I updated with permission from Endraxial. It has a good moon texture. Hope this helps!

Is there a chance you'll change the exhaust color for the skipper engine? The color looks a bit... out of place... I'll be attempting my own edits too. Maybe make it match the rest of the black-bell engines a bit better? I always find it annoying when I see engines that burn the same fuel burn it at different colors. - Props on the blue glow on the inside of the bell though. It's absolutely beautiful. - EDIT - I'm guessing you where trying to model the exhaust effects off of the Space Shuttle's liquid engines? I'm guessing this from looking at the exhaust at low altitudes. In this video you can see that the flame starts at a bluish purple and quickly turns into a dull red as it leaves the bell. -
I saw that the very first comment quoted this too! I can't tell you how happy hearing this makes me... I have a CPU with 8 cores... and now I can finally get to use them all!

Aww but what's the fun in having a program install a mod for you when you know how to do it by hand? - Question though, I could theoretically merge all 3 folders in GameData related to RealPlume (SmokeScreen, RealPlume, and RealPlume-Stock) into a single folder? It would just clean up my gamedata folder, that's all. -

It works 100% great with 1.0.4 - I even made a custom cloud pack specifically for 1.0.4! Link to it in my description if you're curious - I don't use ATM but it has no compatibility issues that I know of... I've had that no flag glitch before but it was a stock bug for me. Happened a few versions back. I suggest getting a fresh install (re-download if you didn't keep the zip handy) and reinstall your visual mods. It's what I always do when I get an unusual glitch . So the way I'm reading this, this mod creates two separate folders in SQUAD? In addition to requiring another SmokeScreen folder? So 3 total folders needed for installation? -

I definitely suggest looking up WindowShine and AVG's cloud pack in my signatures. That cloudpack is the most detailed pack for old EVE to this date. And if you like textures to match a bit more you can click on SPPCC too . Anyhoo, I suggest PlanetShine, KSPRC workaround, Scatterer (if your game doesn't crash too much), a custom skybox and Endraxial's planet conversions (Both in TextureReplacer), and possibly HotRockets too. I hope you get something beautiful when your searching is done!
