  1. Haha! Looks really good! Maybe try concealing a nuclear engine inside? Most of the rocket engine can bee hidden inside with just the nozzle showing, but TWR will be significantly reduced. It will have an ISP of 800, though, so it is worth it since it's interplanetary. I also see you used your vernier rocket pods on it, it looks really, really good! The interplanetary stage reminds me of the Delta Cryogenic Second Stage (or Interim Cryogenic Propulsion Stage as used by Orion MPCV on SLS Block I) Sorry for all the information but I hope you appreciate my praise for your work! You're turning into quite the rocket builder
  2. Ah, I see. This was just meant as an example anyways. I was just trying to show the potential usage of sending PM's to self. Sorry about the broken links. When I read the PM myself the links do work.
  3. Helldiver and Nazari, you work yourself too hard... All of it looks really, really nice as always. Take your time, we're not forcing you to rush. EDIT: FREEMANtsinq, can you post a screenshot of the formatting for the lines that say texture = "...".tga? I'm having trouble, I have the parts in game but they are just the KSO cockpit colored solid white. Here are screenshots of the syntax I used, feel free to point out my errors.
  4. Tried this out and it actually works! It's useful for many things, but I use it to hold links to mods I use to easily check for updates. On my threads for my videos on YouTube I post links to the mods and that makes checking for updates real quick. I sent a message of links for all the Real Solar System mods I use and it's quite handy, especially when updating (or checking for updates, at least) that many mods at once. Try it! Note that these links are shortened and do not link to the actual threads. 5. Wow, thanks for doing this! Will make sure to give some rep tomorrow, I can't give any now.
  6. Please forgive men, but what is AO? These all look very nice so far, especially the Mainsail. I always thought of it as the F-1 analogue and that's what it looks like. Will you be changing the Skipper? Personally, I really like the texture for it already, but it's sort of the J-2 analogue so that would be neat.

    Pixelarts!

Looks quite good! Don't know much about pixel art, so no advice I can give.
  8. Alternis Kerbol is indeed quite cool. The reconfiguration is neat and it's nice to have a such a vast system right outside of Kerbin.
  9. It does indeed look really cool. Is the parachute on the nose upside down? I've thought about that technique as well , great minds think alike!
  10. The plane tail fins (the ones by WinterOwl Aircraft Emporium) also work really well, take a look at some of the rockets at my page. Cubic Octagonal Struts when the engines are moved in closer towards the fuel tanks. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/67300-Woopert-s-Quality-Crafts Temstar also has a nice series of rockets with engines attached like this. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/33381-0-20-2-Zenith-rocket-family-%28modernised-for-0-20-x-with-perfect-subassembly%29 Blizzy78's tutorial linked above is also a very nice tutorial.
  11. I've had quite a good time reading all of these humorous posts Really excited to see Orion fly, it's a big step for NASA. Although the Delta IV Heavy design has been around a while now, it's not new (first flight in 2004). "Moar Power" is more appropriate for the Delta IV Heavy since it is the most powerful rocket in use (SLS Block I will take that spot in 2017, and Falcon Heavy will hold the title for a short period of time before that, starting in 2015) Oh, and one other thing. I believe the core stage and the boosters are the same exact size. They're both "Common Booster Cores," the way they make the outer ones separate first is by throttling down the core stage, I believe.
  12. Wow, very nice SSTO there! I've always wondered why everyone sends their planes to Minmus. Robbaz did it once, and Scott Manley did it in KSP Interstellar Quest. It is entertaining but a traditional style lander makes much more sense Though I shouldn't be talking, back in 0.19 or something I landed OperationDx1's space plane on Minmus
  13. I'm always very careful with my kerbals. Haven't killed any since coming off of my hiatus (because of personal reasons in my life, I returned to KSP late August, after not really playing since May). Through career and sandbox, no kerbal deaths. I treat them personally and always think about it on a personal level, about what the kerbals would have to go through. I do still understand that it is just a game, though.
  14. They could be magnetic, use the imagination! helldiver and Nazari, fantastic job on this once again and take your time, it's not like you're getting paid for this so we greatly appreciate all both of you have done. I got it, "Krakenium" would make a nice uranium equivalent.
  15. About to download the new beta, will report back soon.
  16. Same avatar, much?
  17. If it's from Majorjim, it's going to be good. Fantastic work on this!
  18. Wow, nice work on that!
  19. Why did you reply to a post from June?
  20. Interesting techniques on this! Looks good!
  21. Just found this thread and am loving the way it looks so far! Keep up the good work!
  22. Wow, there's some really great ideas here! It's like the School of Athens, but with KSP modders Agree with everything that's been discussed here.
