    Can this also be used to get a small amount of science from, for example finding the distance between Kerbin and [insert Planet/Moon/Asteroid Name Here], being worth more science for bodies that are farther away?

    I know the ALCOR has a ambient sound for IVA, but the screen things would have to be done through IVA textures.

    Also could you possibly do the Discovery Ambient sound, and maybe the little things (like NAV, COM, etc.) on the screens (they can just be fake IVA stuff, or it could be done through RPM, just an idea at this point)?

    Not really, whatever gas Kerbals breathe, and the respective version of water may contain the needed atoms to make Kethane.
