Well blackrack never originally planned to do the water, at least not in any public capacity I know of, so maybe.  I just find it humorous.  The people who did Proland had a team, the fact blackrack is trying to implement them into KSP alone suggests mental instability of the most beloved sort—like a crazy painter or the guy who builds Strandbeests.  I sort of hope Squad takes notice though, and not in the modding Monday's sort of way, but that perhaps once the transition to 1.1 and Unity 5 is past, perhaps 1.2 will be the beautification update.  Did you know KSP has less than 20 sounds, including music?  KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK BLACKRACK.

Replace your Kerbin config with that and you should get my settings. I've changed the ExtinctionMultiplier and ExtinctionTint for the 120000 layer (which was originally 160000)

It keeps happening because the oceans are rebuilt on every scene change and it is an outstanding bug... there are no settings that will help as of yet.

Blackrack was previously unable to reproduce this bug and we weren't able to provide details of it so he hasn't been able to investigate it thus far. Apparently with his new graphics card he is seeing the bug so hopefully it will get fixed evenutally. Until then your choices are: 1. Deal with it as is. 2. Rebuild the oceans each time the scene changes. 3. Turn off the oceans until it is fixed.

Indeed I am now also getting this bug. I haven't been able to find the cause yet though.

Well I haven't really digged much into it yet, but the trees are probably possible also, so maybe in the future. For now the features I'm looking into for the near future include light shafts, multiple light sources, eclipses/planet shadows with proper atmosphere lighting and improved scattering shaders. Probably won't be releasing anything new or doing much bug fixing before 1.1 though, as I expect it to completely break everything anyway. Here's hoping 1.1 will be released within the next two weeks.

OK, thanks.  FYI, on Linux it runs in OpenGL. Does this happen no matter what graphics addressing scheme is used (ie: Dx9, Dx11, or OpenGL)?

OpenGL seems to be the worst but all graphics options have shown it to some degree

I have an issue with this mod when I go to Laythe. The FPS somewhat 0.1. It woks fine with Eve, Kerbin

Either i DX9 or DX11, It's the same. When I remove Scatterer, it's fine. The same in orbit or landed. I tested with or without Eve, it's the same.

Sounds like you still have Scatterer enabled around Jool. Remove this entry from the \config\PlanetsList.cfg

Presently, Scatterer cripples frame rate when effects are loaded in for Gas Giants. So in orbit around Jool or any of its Moons you will experience your FPS drop.

Thx @Poodmund, that did it. I didn't figured that because my Tylo stuff was all right.

I find the Dx11 display has quite strange colors (especially water). Can I switch to dx9 ?

 

EDIT : Well, things are the same. The water has dark patches and looks very wierd on Laythe and even Kerbin. I also have black lines around KSC. The strange thing is I don't remember havong those when I first try the Eve+Scatterer+Planetshine (a simple flight to the island)

 

EDIT2 : forget it this "bug" doesn't seems related to scatterer.

EDIT : Well, things are the same. The water has dark patches and looks very wierd on Laythe and even Kerbin. I also have black lines around KSC. The strange thing is I don't remember havong those when I first try the Eve+Scatterer+Planetshine (a simple flight to the island)

 

EDIT2 : forget it this "bug" doesn't seems related to scatterer.

From your screenshot that looks like the cloud shadows working like they should. Don't know about the black lines around KSC though.

That's also a bug, I'll fix it when I can. The Z fighting is "normal" for now, I will have a workaround for it later.
