Um, I might be crazy (and it is entirely possible this is wrong) but I thought Atlas V was updated 2 BDB updates ago... (I just checked it was earlier than I thought late 2019)

Atlas V is essentially "MODERN" Art form factor from BDB.   it is just Atlas V isn't all that interesting visually like the older Atlas rockets.

Atlas V was updated this update, but only visually really. The parts are more or less the same, with a few changes to the interstages.

Also note, we're talking about the Wiki needing an Atlas V wiki update, not the actual models in game needing another update lol.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Well, here's my story ...

KSRSS, default scale/inclinations. I did a test launch after building the craft to make sure I'd built it correctly, and cut off the Agena when my Ap was 500km. Lo and behold, my lunar DN was coming up, and the timing was perfect-ISH to get an encounter, so I quickly just made a node 1 minute ahead and got an encounter. Since this was a hack job and I wasn't even intending to actually go to the Moon, my trajectory was meh, so I cheated myself a 3rd ignition on the Agena for a single MCC to get the landing trajectory you see in the video. This was highly illegal and the mission would have failed if I was using EngineIgnitor but alas I was not and thus I have cheated badly. Ish, maybe, idk.

The video is totally raw and unedited, so you'll want to skip. Overheating indicators were unexpected. The video starts at a quicksave point I made on the 1st attempt, and this is attempt #5 from the quicksave spot. The numbers can never be used by another human since this mission is incredibly sensitive to velocity and angle and lunar wind direction. Impact velocity is 45m/s ... survivable but should have been better.

The only mission less fun than this one is Pioneer 1. :P

The Atlas portion has been updated, and @Friznit has a list he is working on. Was there something specific that you were looking for?

my main focus has been on the new parts, I've kind of figured out what to do with what's already on the wiki, but the things like the "lab cockpit" for the Saturn parts I have no idea how to use or fully build

Ok, so it is possible then. Question... how much fuel do you have in your BE-3 solid motor? Mine shows 1.8 in the VAB and it seems to burn out faster than yours did.

You must be using Real Names? For me the ZE-3 also has 1.8 units of solid fuel, and by itself shows 100s ISP/Thrust 2.66kN/5 seconds burn. I turned the thrust limiter down to 23 for a vacuum TWR of 2.36 for the flight - otherwise the TWR is over 10.

The CM and LM labs were never flown in real life as they were part of proposals submitted to NASA for early Apollo flights that didn't fly, or for later extensions for the program that were never funded. Therefore, there isn't a lot of guidance on how they would be used. Accordingly, that carries over to BDB and that is not really a bad thing. The dev team put them into the mod with the idea that the user could kitbash them into whatever configuration that pleased them. That gives you a lot of leeway. Here is something I cooked up a while back:

The CM lab could be used in a similar fashion. Put some science greebles on it, some power, and voila! Whether or not the Wiki will be updated to reflect this I do not know.

I can tell that you are new to KSP or at least new to the forums. With a mod as large as BDB it is really helpful if you get VERY specific when you have a question. It helps the experienced players by enabling them to provide you with better and more precise answers. Have fun! Show us some of your creations when you can, if you can get around the damnable 502 Gateway errors that seem to be the bane of our existence on the forums of late.

Here is another variation. This is the original design of the Apollo Telescope Mount for the early Apollo Applications Program wet workshop concept (never flown). The ATM that actually flew on Skylab was a purpose built unit that did not use any legacy LM components.

sorry I should have made myself clearer, I didn't mean the Lander lab module, but the "Renovated Lab Module" the new update came with, I have no idea on how to actually post pictures on here, but I think you know what it is

@Rodger The Saturn S-II Interstage is the same weight across the four variants. Might I suggest/request that the weight change among the four of them? Less weight on the short, and more on the longish and long?

Default weight is: 6.298t

Suggestions for weights of the other three:

Short: 5.248t (It looks to appear that the short version is 5/6th the length, so 5/6th the weight.
Longish: 9.447t (It appears to be 1.5 times the length, so 1.5 the weight.)
Long: 13.67t (It appears to be 2.17 times the length, so 2.17 times the weight.)

If it's not on the wiki or on my To Do list then it probably means I have no idea either!

Right, that is the CM (Command Module) Lab that I referred to earlier. It really has the same function as the LM lab. You can do just about anything with it that you want. Attach some science parts, solar panels, sensors, the Goo Lab, etc. The possibilities are endless. Put it in the SLA adapter atop a Saturn and launch it. Do a transposition and docking maneuver with the CSM and take it out for a few trips around the planet while gathering some useful science.

Note: A standard Saturn IB will probably not lift the RCML along with a CSM. You will need to use a Saturn V (huge overkill), upgrade the Saturn IB, use the Saturn INT-20, or any other of the upgraded Saturn concepts. You could also do a dual launch, with one Saturn IB launching the RCML and one launching the CSM.

I have only flown the RCML once and I did not take any screenshots.

For uploading pictures, you have to first upload them to a picture sharing service like Imgur. Then you use the "Insert image from URL" function in the lower right of the box when you are typing here. Go to Imgur, right click the photo and "copy image link". Paste the image link into the box that pops up on this page.

@slyfox023, I went back and did a quick Hyperedit of a RCML with a CSM in orbit to grab some screenshots. This is just one of literally hundreds of configurations that you could do. Just add some science components. There is a node on the bottom of the RCML so you can even use it as the first component of a larger station while building in the VAB.

Here's one way I've used it:
