Named Pegasus, it would have had a lighter, simplified guidance section and a short third stage booster.[15] A 60-pound (27 kg) payload could be boosted to a 210 miles (340 km) circular orbit, or to an elliptical orbit with a 700 miles (1,130 km) apogee. Pegasus would have used the Pershing erector-launcher and could be placed in any open area. Martin seems to have targeted the nascent European space program, but this system was never developed'' here, a size comparison between the pershing missile and the redstone missile: I just wanted to share it with you, as it seems to be similar in look and feel to redstone and jupiter Awwh that's cute! You'd want the launch trailer in game tho We almost got an ocean launch platform for Scout, back in the day. I genuinely don't know, every time I start to feel like I've made real progress I remember a bunch of other stuff I need to do. I don't have a strong sense of the "percent" myself. I think I'm fairly committed to getting the lunar stack sorted and available to try on Github before worrying too much about stuff like the Saturn 1B and such, but that still feels a couple months out. The good news is I think it'll be a bit of a cascade once these hard 'main' parts are done, more stuff will be able to come faster. I hope. Make sure you have BDB and all dependencies installed correctly as per the download. After double checking if you still have trouble, please post: 1. a list of your mods (a screenshot of your gamedata folder will do) 2. your ModuleManager.log (in kerbalSpaceProgram/Logs/ModuleManager) 3. your ModuleManager.ConfigCache (in Kerbal Space Program/GameData.) Also please let us know your KSP version and whether you have the latest BDB installed. I ended up reinstalling most of my mods and KSP to fix the problem. The only problem I have now is the stowaway sat isn't working right.
biohazard15
Apollo 14 (CCAFS) A tribute to the old Saturn-Apollo. Apollo 14 was comprised of Kitty Hawk (CSM) and Antares (LM). It is the only human spacecraft that landed at the Moon region known as Fra Mauro formation. Morning launch. Switching off the central F-1 (I do this at T-30s) Jettisoning the S-IC. Sorry, failed to caprure the exact moment. Jettisoning the famous interstage ring. Jettisoning LES (you can see it if you look real close) Jettisoning the S-II (again, failed to capture separation motors, sorry) Starting TLI burn. Releasing Kitty Hawk. Kitty Hawk retrieves Antares. Enroute to the Moon. I've got a secondary mission (aka contract) - conduct some science experiments while at the Moon orbit. There is Mystery Goo canister, DMagic GORESat, and DMagic solar particle collector. The latter is mounted on a piston, in order to fit it into CSM's service bay. Circularizing. Antares decouples from Kitty Hawk... ...and starts its journey to its designated landing site at Fra Mauro formation. You can see Parry and Tolansky craters. The Antares has landed! Disembarking and planting the flag. Deploying ALSEP package... ...and trying to play some golf, like Shepard did. Ascent stage blasts off. Meanwhile, Kitty Hawk completes the orbital science... ...and intercepts Antares. Short EVA to gather science results. Antares is abandoned. Kitty Hawk starts its return burn. Jettisoning the SM and preparing for reentry above Africa, aiming to splashdown at Indian Ocean. That was pretty close. Splash! Mission successful! CAPFlyer
Okay, probably just not using the right search terms, but I'm not able to get the engines to use anything other than LF/O. Have all the proper supporting addons installed so I'm pretty sure it's not that, but I have no choice anywhere to change the engine fuel type and when I change what's in the tanks, the engines won't work. Which engines? Are you trying to get the engines themselves to switch the fuel they run? None of the BDB engines switch fuel types. There are a few that use liquid hydrogen and oxidiser and the rest use LF/O (and some tiny ones use mono). The LFO engines cant switch to LH2O and vice verse. CAPFlyer
Okay, that's what I was wondering. So there's no fuel switch on the engines, just the tanks.
