Cold War Blackbird is a short film set in 1972 in an alternate Kerbal universe over the country of Kerbitnam. All the craft were from that time period in our universe but as far as I know no MiG 25's ever flew in Vietnam. However all the other craft were in Vietnam during that period. Where possible the planes have performance similar to their real counterparts. There are also ground vehicles and other accessories all stock. It was filmed in 1.05 and no effort has been made to update these craft to 1.1 yet. I would share the film versions but the changes would be difficult to replicate.

 

Space Shuttle Atlantis OV-104

Space Shuttle Atlantis OV-104 is a MK3 scale replica of the Space Shuttle. It is meant to be as realistic as possible, so the boosters are SRB's. There is a MK 2 version on the way that is much better with several mission payloads, so I would wait for that one rather than downloading this one.

 

SSTA KSS Voyager

A spaceplane that can SSTO from Kerbin with enough dV to go almost anywhere and land again. Once on another planet it can mine resources to refuel and then take off and go anywhere again. It can land like a conventional spaceplane using lift in atmosphere, and or it can use it's VTOL capabilities on all worlds for the last bit of landing (uses oxidiser really fast, save for absolutely the last minute).

Along with some Vagani suspension (which will not stop things exploding if you jump the administration building like I did) it has about 500ms of dV (enough to get you to orbit on the Mun) *note: Warranty void if used off Kerbin.

K-1 Falcon Supersonic Bomber

It can super-cruise (half throttle) at almost Mach 4 and deliver 2 cruise missiles nearly anywhere on Kerbin if fully fuelled. Requires BDArmory for Nosecone, Targeting Pod, ECM, Chaff, Flares and Cruise Missiles.

Before Wernher worked for the KSC he was pilfered from the Kaiser where he worked on their Wunderwaffe (Wonder Weapon) program. There he created the Wunderwaffe Flugzeugträger Damocles and aircraft carrier that is capable of flight itself. It can also set down in the water and be used like a normal aircraft carrier.

So news and plans, I released the Mini Soyuz last night and got a feature on Spacecraft Friday/Monday for the SE-X 1. That was great, was a pity the Mini Shuttle didn't get a feature or much notice, it was really nice. I have decided to put The Dunatian on hold until after 1.1 as I don't have time to do much other than update current other craft. I have finished a launcher for the Kerbes that I will add to it, but it needs updating too. As for current craft, the Finch has been updated but I want to work on the missiles a bit more. I will update some of the more popular craft like the Orbit Master as well. Sadly Project X has been killed by the changes to 1.05, it was very marginal anyway and the changes to the jets have made it unworkable. Lastly the destroyer I was working on for the WWII video looks like it needs a lot of work for the new buoyancy.

Front Page has had a lot of changes and is looking pretty nice, need some more changes to the format to get information density up so it's not so long.

I made an opening credit video for my YouTube channel, I had sort of pictured how to do it for a while. Getting the right angle and perspective proved somewhat more difficult. I am happy enough with it for now. As I get better I will update it one day. I decided to give myself a studio name, because, why not. Deleted because later I realised it was 720p and I was adding it to my projects first causing them to all be 720p and I could not change them, this made them all artifacted and blocky - excrement.

First video uploaded is a spoof of Top Gun I did, I downloaded an old F14 someone made and updated it to fly in 1.05, which it does very well, but I forgot to turn the gimbal off on the engines. Also I may need to check some of the control surfaces, they seem to be moving when they shouldn't, anyway enjoy.

Let the AI clean up the opposition or get in there and help them yourself, BDArmory makes it possible.

OK, got distracted by the Duna Buggy and the MK3 SSTA that I released. I have been back editing and creating footage for the SR-71 cinematic, modded KSP is so gorgeous these days I often just want to sit and watch the sunset. I have finished the first sped up part, I do not want to be a stop motion animator its very tedious work. I have about an hour of flying footage to distill down to a few minutes and somehow bridge evening to morning.
