Nope, but I won't be able to do it asap. I just had thought by the way, on your Hawk, does it need to be deployed first or does it work even though the blades aren't deployed? I remember wanting to implement something like that for an extending rocket nozzle but I can use the engine while not deployed anyway.

It has to be deployed first. I'm looking into FSAnimateGeneric to see if that will unfold the blades before or during spool up. Also after spool down the blades won't be in the correct position to fold again, either sticking out the side or forward.

Oh I remember an FS rotor like this, based from the electric propeller?

Correct, I currently like the option to fold manually. The blade position resets after changing scene then going back to the craft. I made the folding blade to be compatible with my carrier lifts.

This seems like it would work for extendable rocket nozzles. I am hopeful. Though that's not my focus at this moment...

@Pliuple Unfortunately, I most likely wouldn't as I'd prefer to have less plugin dependency for ease of update.

Yeh, I saw that. No offense to Squad, but I wouldn't want to work for them; I don't want to get disillusioned from my favorite game. I don't mind making mods, but that'll be as far as I go.

I still play while modding but it got reduced massively when I did. I still have fun though but I guess there's lesser time when you're working on the game itself. I love working on my own time. Though I get distracted a lot and end up playing. :D

While Bob was figuring out the thrust to weight benefits of the NKKP-12, Jeb and Val were busy strapping them onto an old crashed airframe, which required a new cockpit (Rest in Peace, Seanmore Kerman); gotta say, I really dig the view!

Could we maybe get a grease pencil 'x' graphic marking IVA center, like Jeb or Val had needed a reference? (they used that technique with AH-6s)

@qromodynmc Nope, not impossible. I want to make an inline too. Though first issue is I can't do it lightning fast and second issue is, I don't know a different looking cockpit to base it from. I'll look into Russian ones.

Edit: @kiwinanday I'll see what I can do. I do plan to improve IVAs of early ones at some point.

@blackheart612 Looking good as always, I really appreciate all the effort you put into texturing these things. I know you prefer to stay away from extra dependencies, but somebody's gonna ask anyway, any chance there'll be a version with all the RPM/ASET/what-have-you jazz in the future?

For an idea for the inline cockpit, how about one that goes from 0,625 to 1,25? Throw in a couple of different looking nosecones for modularity. :) Personally, I'd love to see one that resembles something from the late 50s to 60s, Starfighter/Delta Dagger/Mirage III/Draken/Mig-23 -type; pretty small and slightly angular canopy that sits quite deep in the fuselage. I feel that's a relatively untapped era so far when it comes to airplane parts. Just a thought. :D

By the way @qromodynmc are you aware of the Aviation Cockpits? It has some modern cockpits, dual-seaters too, the IVAs are relatively simplistic but otherwise they are pretty nice and sit decently well with stock parts.

Still, as i said, other cockpits dont fit into stock style much, also i want to support blackheart with his modding.

I'm weighing on MiG-29 or Su-27 for inline one but I think MiG is the way to go due to a more inline friendly shape. Though it's gonna be the least of my priority. I'm doing Little Bird Cockpit and plan to make commercial ones as well (like a private jet's) to accompany the hatch if ever I make one.
