Nah, the Richter scale goes all the way down to "can only be picked up by instruments", which isn't that awesome. Real rockets register on the Fujita scale, whose lowest point is F0: Quote Small trees are blown down and bushes are uprooted. Shingles are ripped off roofs, windows in cars and buildings are blown out, medium to large branches snapped off of large trees, sheds are majorly damaged, and loose small items are tossed and blown away (i.e. lawn chairs, plastic tables, sports equipment, mattresses). Barns are damaged. If I'm not entirely mistaken, some of SpaceX's activities have qualified for this already. Wut is "parachutes"? Some of us still remember those times... P.S. Interesting, how many chutes will the Starship require five years later. JoeSchmuckatelli
They must have made a couple of passes - the pilot's perspective makes it look like they flew a lot closer to the towers than the ground views. @StrandedonEarth Cool find! Spaceception
Wow, I'm really behind on things, when did the engines get covers? Are they there to prevent corrosion, or just to look nice?

There's cover in the holes that were above the engine, looking like cocktail shakers. Needed during ascent because aerodynamics The engines have also been coated to look nicer and prevent corrosion from the nearby sea

As I understand they use the mount for an radar tracked anti air gun and replace the gun with an telescope, might beefed up the radar a bit as range will be longer but you will also be aiming directly at target. It should have an way to select target so you don't follow dropped stages and fine adjustment,

It's an angular tracking issue, comets have high velocity, but small movement across the sky. You could have a scope that could follow ISS, but not a car going 1000 times slower past your house. The farther away the rocket is, the less difficult it is to track at high speed.
