Every time when I measure the air temperature at 34.701342"N, 170.920260"E with a standard 1cm³ volume thermometer, it heats up by 1 degree celsius.
Probably, somebody superpowered blinks at the same moment!..

i came up with another idea:

the super useless super power to be a large range of "n"tmf wavelenght (n bein a natural integar) coming either from deep deep space either, the sun, a planet, or more earth locally emitted , and , as such a wavelenght you could at more or less random depending some other factor be very annoyin or either totally not for a various range of lifeform on earth but not all and not all the time and not always and not necessarilly with the same intensity at the same time
