Triton was a wet sub. Can't have hull collapse if there is no pressure hull!

Piranhas were fun, though. Tiny but titanium-hulled, with "shoulder-mounted" torpedo tubes doubling as cargo compartments.

Love this design, first its an real submarine, this thing has to have an diesel engine. also the cutout for the various antennas is cute.
Much better the airlock could also be used for decompression  dives at reasonable depths as its doubles as an diving bell.  And it has torpedo tubes.
So you could use it as an special operation sub towed by an larger one or as an coastal defense sub.

Might have been posted here, but anyways. This is known as a JATO take off, where they pretty much slap a few rockets on the plane to allow it to take off(Mainly to help the plane get in the air if it's way to heavy for a normal take off). I'm pretty sure most of us did something similar to get that very badly designed cool plane in the air.

Operation Credible Sport. Enough said.

Yes you land an C-130 Hercules at an soccer stadium in Tehran using rockets to slow you down, then you rescue the hostages. Rush back to the plane and activate the other sets of rockets who simply push you into flying.
I did not know they planned to land the C-130  on an carrier, yes it has been done but did not it was part of this operation, I assumed they would land in Kuwait or similar.
And the kerbalism is strong enough anyway here.

I know it as RATO (Rocket Assisted Take Off). And it was used more than once by the Military!!! :)

Do you wonder if they ever, like, got in arguments about where to go?

They have only one pilot.

Left cabin: pilot and gunner, right cabin: navigator and gunner-radioman.

So, they also had a gunslinger option to decide.

Dear Zumwalt, I apologize for ever calling you ugly ...

It ain't going to take much sea state to capsize that vessel, being so high out of the water.

It is probably intended to sink lower in the water when cruising, as are cargo ships. It just looks this way because it is in port.
