Anyone know why my Saturn looks like this in RSS? It has a moire pattern and no shadow on the rings. I'm using 1.2.2 on Macos High Sierra, using the backported version of Kopernicus for 1.2.2. It was working fine and then all of a sudden started doing this. Log here.

Not too sure if what I'm about to say is accurate, But I don't think the new ring shader was added to Kopernicus in 1.2.2. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong.) If it was I think is was broken/glitch at the time. I think you will have to upgrade to 1.3.1 if possible.

I don’t know if you are right or wrong but I do know that RSS has not been updated to include the necessary changes to use the ring shader. His issue may be anti aliasing not being high enough on his rig, but we can know that unless he gives more information

I don't know if this this has been solved yet, but, why this message keeps showing having no Planet packs installed?

Kopernicus was not able to load the custom planetary system due to an exception in the loading process.(You probably know about this message)

If you did everything correctly, you shouldn't get that message.  It's impossible to diagnose your problem without more information.

No it, doesn't works, i don't have any mods and now the game itself doesn't even starts!(keep not stopping loading with black screen and that thing in the lower right corner with the planet orbiting sun)

Anyway i use Kspx32 from steam, if that could help.

We can't help you if you don't help us.  Just saying it doesn't work tells us nothing about what might be wrong.  We need more information about your installation.

I have 16GB of RAM, I use Windows 7 64 bits

The strange thing is that in a computer with Windows 7 it works, but not in mine.(Probably the other computer has different components).

Just post your output log and a screenshot of your gamedata folder. Otherwise, I wouldn’t expect any more help. See the link @OhioBob posted or click the “how to get support” button in my signature.

Post your screenshot to a site like imgur.com and your logs to Dropbox. Share the links here so we can see them.

Could I get confirmation on whether the bug related to orbits getting broken when Kerbin has been reparented is supposed to be fixed in the current version? I am using 1.3.1-3 with KSS and am experiencing this problem still and trying to track down the cause, and most signs seem to point to Kopernicus itself (these signs being the bug being mentioned here multiple times, and in the known issues section of Extrasolar New Horizons).

I compiled the new ring shader into the asset bundles used by Kopernicus. Now all left to do is downloading a non-compiled copy of Kopernicus from GitHub and updating the ring spawner and ring loader codes to account for the new values.

The edited shader has been tested in Unity. It looks a bit strange and color-less, but then again it's not designed to be used standalone.

is this on hold due to KS3P? Or needs a new Kopernicus release? I've really been eager to see some ingame screenshots...

Actually its on hold because of KS3P and Evolution, as well as the fact that I was having trouble compiling Kopernicus. I'll test it in-game soon.

So, just a quick question:

Whenever I install Kopernicus, all the solar panels on my crafts are retracted and need to be deployed again, even the one way kind.

Not a huge deal, just curious why this happens? I think it has something to do with the support for multiple star light sources maybe? (I see an MM patch in the solarpanels.cfg for this) Or am I doing something wrong during installation?

Seems to be deleted by a forum bug, and I want to wait until I have time to release the next big update for it before redoing it. Might be quite soon though, depending on my schedule and 1.4

Saw some activity on your Github page so I was already hoping for an update :)

Can someone help me ?

P.S. I tried override this by deleting this Problematic planet, but Kopernicus plugin "saw" my intentions, and all planets didn't have been loaded

P.S. If additional logs are needed, just write it, i will send more

@MrFancyPL Interstellar Adventure is known to break in KSP 1.3.1. Unfortunately your options are to attempt to use it on KSP 1.3.0, or install Galactic Neighborhood (GN) and any number of small planet packs in its compatibility list. Visual mods break in GN btw (which I hope is not a deal-breaker).

So which one do we use now, @ or %?

Expand

It depends what you're trying to accomplish.

If you want your code to edit a node if it exists and error out if it doesn't exist, use @.

If you want your code to edit a node if it exists and create it if it doesn't exist, use %.

No, the above was true when they were written. I think most of the authors just didn't know about %.
