No, they wont wear a suit since they wont need air. 

 

I'm talking physical features of an android. Exposed robotics, robotic movements sometimes, etc.

People are really liking the idea of a military style space suit... with Armageddon and Sunshine style suits tied for second. Honestly, I didn't think the latter two would get much love, but apparently people like Sunshine and Armageddon.

Kerbals are more like ballast. Dead weight that keeps the craft upright.

Something that might be really cool is the ability to switch the RCS pack for a Kerbin-flyable jet pack. I know, it’s slightly (maybe)  unrealistic,  but in comparison to the RCS pack with 600m/s of delta V, a jet pack running off monopropellant with 10 minutes of flight time (probably pretty realistic powered by hydrogen peroxide decomposition) sounds like something in the scope of KSP.  

 

Actually, this would be greater in stock like the addition of the parachute. An addition like this should be able to everyone.

Also the LBA-2 (Little Big Adventure)-style bimodal hovering jetpack looks nice (not in KSP).

In the 1st mode ("proto-pack") you are hovering above the surface at ~1m, staying still or slowly flying forward (depends on arrow keys). The pose is like you are just sitting in air, sticking its handles in fists.

In the 2nd mode ("super jetpack") you are hovering above the surface at ~1m, quickly flying forward. The pose is like you are a flying witch tilting forward.

We already have the Retro/Modern/Futuristic lineup for the suits, so why not do something different?

Although, I think a classic 50's style suit complete with bubble helmet could be cool as well, now that I think of it.
