Here are some ideas: Hermes (yes just a ripoff of the Martian but still) Mercury (the Roman version) Pheonix (this one is dependent on your taste, whether or not the ship should be named after the mission) Firebird (old school) Prince Ivan (my personal favorite, after the protagonist of the Firebird story in Slavic folklore) What's the ship like? That could help. Edited June 4 by Kimera Industries A NEW PAGE was discovered today. You'll never believe how it... The spacecraft was supposed to use a nuclear engine but I saw that new Scott Manley video on how those work and I don’t want to irradiate Socks Heeler, who is one of the crew members on the mission I *MIGHT* still use one because you just have to maneuver carefully or just use a crap ton of shielding

It adds a little bit of extra detail since they're probably being exposed to some minor dust storms over the mission.

It is a concept drawing tho, and I will create a larger panorama style pic for the base Edited June 7 by BA-Forums

Kerbalsaurus
Here’s drawing of the Philadelphia skyline I spent quite a few days making. This is an actual place in Philly too, I literally just zoomed in on some random spot on Google Earth, and then just copied it down.
BA-Forums
After a bit of time not drawing, I have returned. Don’t ask about the pigeons that got melted to make this communications uplink work. this is a rough sketch so there are editing notes on it! BA-Forums
13 hours ago, Kimera Industries said: I like the "DSN Magic." Maybe they have an ansible. Yes. The ANSAT system (Ansible Satellite) is a large communications satellite system that has three satellites located in a geosynchronous orbit over earth, and three over Mars. ANSAT works by sending a signal from a source (ie, a webcam and microphone attached to a TV) to the nearest DSN station. This signal will be then amplified with the ANSAT-Ground antenna, which is strong enough to melt pigeons in a direct transmission. Direct transmissions will suffer from time lag, so live video chats use the ANSAT satellite in geosynchronous to fire the signal like a fighter jet launching from an aircraft carrier. this is done in ways that I need to come up with. The signal goes FTL, and it gets caught by the ANSAT, like that same fighter jet catching the arresting cable on the carrier, in Martian orbit and transmitted down to the Hab. internet can also be used on the Martian surface, using ANSAT as a earth transmitter for instantaneous communication, with Starlink and a prototype system created by Lockheed Martin used as the routers. I just came up with that lol

Kerbalsaurus
Decided to pick back up on building the world or Bruvell a little more. This time, I designed the rolling stock of Bruvell Regional Transport (BRT) My handwriting is in runes or something, so I'll translate everything out to you guys here. Bombardier ESC-26 Top Speed: 110mph The ESC (Erie Suburban Commuter) is the main train on BRT's commuter services. They run on some of the only electric track in the midwest. The first units were delivered in 2017, and numbered 100-130. GE BIT20-DC2 Top Speed: 105 mph The BIT-20DC was built by General Electric in 1988. It was meant to replace the aging diesel fleet, left behind from when BRT was still BRR (Bruvell Regional Railroad). They serve BRT's intercity services to Pittsburgh and Cleveland, but were plauged by several issues. In 2003, General Electric rebuilt them into the BIT20-DC2s. BRT gave them new numbering, 400 to 420. Silverspeeder Commuter Cab Also built by Bombadier, the Silverspeeder is part of a full ESC-26 trainset. It can seat 24 passengers. Bruvellite Multilevel/ A passenger car built by General Electric, the Bruvellite holds enough room to fit 80 passengers inside. It's used on BRT's intercity diesel consists. I used this silver and red color scheme (gave me an excuse to break out my metallic colored pencils), however I might draw some BRR heritage units and redo the paint job on some of these. Maybe put an arrow on the ESC-26 instead of a weirdly square back end. If anybody has any other suggestions, please tell me some. I'd like to detail these trains a little more. Kerbalsaurus
Drew a little subway station, nothing much. I will admit, the way I draw people is quite cartoony, and looks quite out of place compared to the subway car. However, I can’t draw realistic people no matter how I try. I’ve just leaned into by now, and have dubbed this round-headed version of humanity “Doodles”.

Kerbalsaurus
Also, just found this one. I meant to share it earlier when I was finished with it, and then lost it. Turns out, I left it under a few books to straighten the paper out . It's a redo of one of my earlier drawings, this time with much more detail. I'm talking fire escapes, murals, grass in between sidewalks, telephone poles, and cars! Finally, I'm starting to draw cars! It's still not great, but practice makes perfect. And for those wondering why the mural's a Minuteman III... it's a long story. It ties into the backstory of the comic (yes, that's what all these drawings are for), which is, well, quite complicated. Reminds me of that Minuteman flying through (destroying) a Soviet flag that's painted on the blast door of the preserved Minuteman II silo and Missile Alert Facility. I can't remember which state it's in. I actually drew an updated version of it with a Chinese flag, but not only can it be construed as political but the reasons I drew it were political so I'm not gonna post it here.
