Bugs!

As there are vegetarian hamburgers instead of the real cows, it's a time to invent vegan bugburgers, to harm no cricket in process.

Say, out of chitin after the molting.

KFC = Kerbal Fried Chitins

But while the bugs are still being eaten, a fruit dessert.
Made of fruit flies grown on the customer's best fruits.

Chitin itself is indigestible.

For humans.

But as other species can digest it, it just should be fermented before cooking.

A large vat for chitin fermentation, full of wings, antennas, and legs floating is spicy solution.

You got this all planned out don't you?

I am still set on chocolate and peanut butter myself, or maybe fruit rollups as a main course?

Crickers.
From Cricket Crackers.

Also the word "mealworm" now gets a totally new sense.

As in Russian the ladybug is "god's cow", it could also produce beef.

I love alll the crunchy, crumbly things that get everywhere in space, like croutons and crackers...so maybe I should bring a lot of peanut butter to hold them together!

thing is if you think you're not eating bugs, you're wrong. same goes for rat droppings.

food production is not as clean and controlled as you think it is.

The seafood is so healthy!

Visit the Jeb's Diner! Ask for Smelly Jelly Fish Dish!

seafood is good, when its fresh.  it i significantly less good when its been one ice too long, and i wouldnt eat anything off of a factory trawler (idk if its a good idea to destroy the ocean over something as lame as a filet'o'fish sandwich).

As they seemingly have no ethanol, so the Kerbals should have no sweet taste receptors, and the human snacks taste like... not snacks for them.

Oh, man. My mom and dad had to hide those when I was a kid. If I found them I'd eat the whole box.

But as for my snack in space, I still think it would be beef jerky. Salt and protein, can't get enough of them.

IMO, this is arguably the most "Kerbal" video ESA ever posted

I just love what being in space does to girl's hair!
