(Hack/Workaround) Rigidity Fix - Less wobbly rockets

Hello guys, girls and kerbals,

I don't know where it originated or who found out about it, but I saw it in Twitch Chat.

The following isn't a Mod itself, but more a workaround or bandaid. All you need to do is edit a .json file, which can be done with the barebones editor which comes with windows.

  1. Go to C:\Users\>username<\AppData\LocalLow\Intercept Games\Kerbal Space Program 2\Global
  2. Search for PhysicsSettings.json
  3. (Optional but recommended) Make a Back-Up of it
  4. Open it with Editor or your Editor of choice
  5. Search for "JOINT_RIGIDITY": 1500.0,
  6. Change the Value from 1500 to something like 1500000 (150000 has been used but you can experiment with those values)
  7. Save it as .json again
  8. Profit?

The user penumbra779 uploaded an edited file on github:

or go here for an ingame version, thanks to @linuxgurugamer

Cheers, a great evening and much fun in KSP 2

Work.. but don't remove it complete. We have to wait of something like Kerbal Joint Reforcement :)

Yes, I already edited the Topic from "no more wobbly rockets" to "less wobbly" :D

I'll prefer to have kerbal joint reinforcement in stock game. Wobbly rockets were fun first like 3 launches in ksp 0.7.3, then just silly and frustrating. Never played ksp without joint reinforcement mod, since it released.
