This is a mod for KSRSS adding the following launch sites for you (yes you!) to enjoy

 -Go to the rules channel and agree to them gain full channel access.

-Open the KSRSS Reborn section.

- Open KSRSS-installation text channel.

- Earth UHD download is at the bottom of the second post. Download this and any one of the three texture packs.

- Download and unzip (You will need 7zip to unpack the files properly.)

-Install EarthUHD into GameData.

You will also need BallisticFox's fork of Kopernicus. (linked below)

I've just sync'd with Github this morning, and as with the first time I tried these configs, everything is still underground/underwater. Here's some pictures and a link to my log file. I'll add some notes below, too ...

This is Kourou, and the Kourou group loaded into the editor. The group center is well underwater at 0 altitude.

Any idea what might be happening on my system? My log file is here. This is a pretty minimal install, just solar system, some visual, some QoL. I should also mention that a) I do not have KSCSwitcher installed. b) The space center is positioned correctly at the Cape.

Just raising the altitude of the groups doesn't really fix things, though - the decals are still not right - but I thought I'd start here with these images and see if you had any ideas. 

I noticed your github has a note about things being underwater - but you have screenshots, so I was hoping that was maybe fixed.

Yeah thats a running issue, im still not too sure why its doing that on other people's installs are doing that, but something that could maybe have to do with it is im using  @ballisticfox0 Earth UHD 64k instead of the normal Earth-64k that comes with ksrss, actually id bet its that, unfortunately its only available through @ballisticfox0 's discord which is only available through patreon

OK SO it seems like users need to use earth UHD for Stuff to work

The Earth UHD Download link is corrupt.  When I try to unzip it, Windows gives an error for both files.

I had that same error when trying to unzip the 32k moon zip, also from ballisticfox, when using Windows 10 shell. I installed 7zip and that worked.

I had the same error for the UHD textures. Unzipping with 7-Zip works, weirdly.

Not a site suggestion, but could you include optional KSCSwitcher configs so that we can see the launch sites from the space center view?

I believe ballisticfox has said it elsewhere, apparently it's because the codec (?) used for compressing the files isn't supported by the windows file explorer zip extractor however it is supported by 7zip

Theres no real way to do that without messing up the sites themselves, but I think in the options for kerbal konstructs in the difficulty settings theres a option for you to view your last used launch site instead of the ksc, you might like that

Any chance we could get configs that work with standard KSRSS? I've tried downloading Earth UHD, but Kopernicus doesn't have a good time and fails to load KSRSS on main menu, which I have already reached out for help on (over on Discord).

I wish I could but its really a huge headache, essentially I'd have to do everything a second time , and i really dont have time for that with end of year stuff right now, maybe in the future

@Dreamliner The OP mentions Earth UHD as a dependency. The discord link gives me "This content is no longer available." Am I having some sort of permissions error on my end, or if the link is outdated can you please update it?

P.S. I did the obvious web searches for variants of "EarthUHD AND kerbal" and either get only this thread, or if I widen the search I get a bunch of unrelated photos of Earth.
