  1. Is there a way to decrease the force required for fuel to get stable with ullage simulation enabled?
  2. @linuxgurugamer Seems like there's a compatibility issue with Throttle Limit Extended. Any engines that have the MM configs for min throttle (including the stock ones) don't have a limited number of ignitions. The log is here.

  4. idk but it may be because they act as docking ports rather than decouplers for the separation from the capsule.
  5. It's probably because I have all RW and RCS both nerfed and turned off during ascent. However, for descent the lack of roll capability in that configuration is expected (you have to use RCS and gridfins for that).
  6. Since you are using KSC++ and Rescale at the same time... How did you get that to work? When I tried it the buildings locations were messed up because of the coordinate differences that come with scaling up the system.
  7. I have tested this mod and so far, I like it. The only problem I have is with the ullage simulation... What are the required forces for the fuel to be stable? I've tried using S-IVB from BDB and I can't restart it for TLI because the APS isn't powerful enough. Also, I updated the patches for BDB and Tundra.
  8. Does this mod significantly affect the ∆v? I'm just asking this because most mods are made for the 2.5x system with fairly low fuel margins.
  9. Does anyone know how are Delta 4000 & 5000 from ETS supposed to look like? I wasn't able to find a lot of information on it, but I was assuming it's the Delta II core using Centaur-D. However, on the ETS thread it is specified that there is a version of D4000 without any boosters while D2 requires boosters in order to achieve a TWR above 1...

  13. Tested the new R7 parts. Stages 1 & 2 are fine, but I ran into some problems with the texture on stage 3 engine... Otherwise, great job. Really like the new (revamped) parts.
  14. @CobaltWolf With the new Venus flyby spacecraft, are you planning to make a special Skylab workshop with a fuel tank? Also, does anyone know how long does an Eve free return trajectory take in 2.5x system?
  15. I've tried playing with this mod in a 2.5x system, but I've got a problem. Most of the ablator is spent while traveling through the upper atmosphere, when temperatures aren't even high enough to blow up the separated service module. Steeper reentries require way less shielding. It has even gone to the point that a reentry on a return from the Mun (4+ km/s) requires less shielding than a normal LKO reentry. Is this caused by the fact that I'm using a rescale mod thaf both increases the velocity on return and the atmosphere height (to 91 km)?
  16. It's probably not intended. But I would like to point out that they also have the same weight. And the same thing goes for Apollo antennas for Block 2, 3/4 and 5. They all have the same weight and range
  17. On that note I'd also ask to have a version that flips something like 120° for docking with PMA.
  18. The new BFR is amazing. I do have some control problems tough... It's impossible to turn around in order to land. Also, if I try to take off from the launchpad it will start pitching uncontrollably. But this is probably caused by the RCS & RW nerf patch I'm using (RW go to 1% of their current power and RCS to 25%). Did I mention that it makes a great Mun lander?
  19. Turns out the ReentryHeatScale was set to 0.1. I've tried changing this before, but it didn't work. This time I tried copying the parts of the older save and this time parts are heating up. This may have happened because I tend to use 1,0 rather then 1.0. Not a big a difference, but enough for the code not to work. Still have no idea how it changed tho...
  20. I've tested them. Not much, but from few burns and flybys I've pulled off they seem well balanced and without any major bugs. Cover isn't perfect for surface attach and in terms of looks, but hey, it works!
