No but the winch can only connect to one side of the connector port and the connection side is facing into the girder. -

You know not everyone is from the same time zone. So could you please post the time zone you are in when posting times. Example: It is currently 4:00pm CDT. Which is also 9:00pm GMT. -

Robotics parts are not controlled through the right click menu. There should be a toolbar button that looks like a robotic arm. Click it and it will bring up the controls for the parts.

The drag was not displaying correctly. If that overlay matched the physics calculations your craft would have spun out of control and crashed. -

Why separate manned and unmanned? The unmanned branch would only have a few nodes containing the probe cores. You effectively want one branch for planes/spaceplanes and one for vertical launch rockets. -

It is generally not advisable to use mods made for current version with an older version of the game. Orbital decay version 1.5.1 is the latest version for 1.1.2. To download it click the changelog tab on SpaceDock then scroll down to find 1.5.1. -

That hasn't ever been a function of KIS. That is what the bomb is for. Might you be thinking of MKS? -

Your GameData folder is all sorts of messed up. You have a GameData nested in GameData. the Ships folder doesn't belong in GameData. You do not need the source folders or the license folder. It should look like ..../Kerbal Space Program/GameData/KIS Also, delete all but the newest module manager. -
Command pods do not have built in Lifesupport. You have to add supplies using the parts provided with the mod.

Yes it does work in career mode. This problem is usually a caused by improper installation. Can you post a pic of your GameData folder? -
contracted vessel names

That part of the contract will not complete until you launch the vessel. IIRC, the name doesn't matter. It just has to be a new vessel. @nightingale please correct me if I'm wrong. -
