Hi @rspeed. I've been trying to add this into KSP 1.6.1. The valiant and reliant don't display their variants in the VAB and the other engines, when launching, display their boattails regardless of how I've set them up in the VAB. Any chance of looking into this please?

I took a while to see what you were saying. Basically, if we put this on a part we'll be able to see where it sits in IVA mode? Or when viewing the IVA via the cutaways? Or both? Amazing work! Peace.

Now fixed. 1.7 no longer available. If you have a save going, if you are using ISRU you will need Simplex Resources as well. Otherwise use as you want. Basically this update gets rid of the Resources and Living folders. no other changes. Sorry all! Peace. -
Awesome thanks. To be fair, I'm not expecting it as you initially said no and expands your original concept. It would make it more modable than say B9 part switch if IFS for the basic modder though so there is that. But only in so much that it is enjoyable to make Bug fixes more important than new features Peace.

I am so inclined if you have a look at the Simplex Resources mod (available on SpaceDock) I simply textured the ore tanks with my own variants but had to make it a separate part per unique ore. Ideally Squad would have done what you have done with the variant switcher to allow different resources on variants, but no. I'd use this mod to do that. Same with the Metal Part containers.

Further edit... @Therese Just delete the simplex living folder... or more specifically the SimplexScience.cfg in it and restart ksp that should resolve issues. You don't need to restart you save. No need to edit save files. Put it down to Bob telling the Scientists to strike. Sorry again all. Hotfix upload tonight. -

Hi all, Lots of Sorry. SORRY! Just found out that the 1.7 included all the simplex mods including Simplex Living and Simplex Resources. That would make your scanning for ore a little different to what you are expecting. Also it will nerf your scientists. I'll make a hotfix tonight NZ time. In the mean time youll need to add the effect ScienceResetSkill back into your scientists. If you are starting a new save get get of the SimplexLiving folder. Peace. -
@Snark I salute your choices and agree wholeheartedly. People can add their own texture variants and make it a two click process And the changing on the fly, I agree with you. I just cant download amd test for another week or so. Nice to see that further resources could be patched in via MM. I might add that to an update to SIMPLEX Resources with the ore tanks. Peace.

Awesome @Snark I remember a mod that used IFS to do the same think many moons ago but you are right... who needs all the extra IFS stuff? Then I was looking through it. Can you change tanks on the fly? Also, would you consider tying it into the stock texture variant system? So that people could make ther own textures? Or is that basically IFS? Yea. I got it without MM the first time i loaded the game as the new Mk2 landercan was the first thing I wanted to play with. So yes MM but MM only triggered this bug. Glad to see it's out and fixed but I'll wait till my fav. Verison locked mods update Peace.

@JebIsDeadBaby and @Björn Kerman Have you tried starting the game, exiting using the menu option and starting the game again without modifying anything?

[WIP] AngleCan SIMPLEX Living 0.10 updated 7 January 2019

Hi all, Update to the Beta 0.10 was out this morning. Renamed to SIMPLEX Living. Simplex Ores and Extraplanetary Launchpad resources and recipes now in the SIMPLEX Resources mod, and the Techtree (not in 0.9 Beta) is of course SIMPLEX TechTree. This is just the Kerbalism profile now. Full release at the end of Jan. Needs checking if you want to give it a go. Should be balanced. Only major change will be mining and ISRU in full release will be kerbalism modules, not stock ones. Peace. -
Could be @Tyko. But don't want to fudge! Too easy to cheat. Was hoping someone with know how and awesomeness could code it. With KAC, the Launch button adds the KAC alarm but the craft doesn't appear. By not having craft appear on the launch pad until the alarm goes off means that you can have multiple builds at the same time. By ignoring alarm delays the launch. It seems it would work the MH launch sites as is without the KCT fudging I've had to do in the past as well. Peace.

Hi all, I'm about to upload 1.7. I'm breaking away from the KSP naming as I make major mod additions. Re-balancing with be minor updates. Included are the inline Mk1 cockpit moving earlier, the separatron, and MISSING HISTORY! @denny99 I did look at the Making History engines, but I couldn't really decide on changes sorry. The engines are where they are for balance against aesthetic, possibly the only tier that does that. I do acknowledge my own stock engine bias. The only change I could see was possibly the Cheetch from MH moving back to Heavy Rocketry. Actually, I'll make that change - this is why I'm typing this before I upload! If anyone can offer more balance suggestions on engines, please do so. I'm away for a couple of weeks. I plan to play the SIMPLEX mods through (maybe with screenshots to make mission reports!) If I get a chance I'll be adding the block variants to the SIMPLEX engine nerf so that you can pay science to upgrade the engines. I'll also start looking at integrating the CTT nodes. This will be a big task as I won't be able to rely on mod CTT configs to do the work (and I suspect that I'm going to use a different logic altogether. Peace. -
That sounds awesome... like a stockish docking camera kinda. Could we please have that on the docking port too? Peace.
