  1. The gum gets balled and stuck to engine. Gumballed Engine Cookie
  2. Violets are violet. Roses are pink. That's all we have to know about the kid authors think.
  3. Life is a self-reproducing periodical thermodynamic process with accumulation of information (in its thermodynamic sense, as delta-information = - delta-entropy, or ln(statistic weight of the system state)). The evolution is how it works. No difference if the system is chemical, economical, social, or what. The life increases the ability of the "owning" system to withstand changes of external conditions with less efforts. Like plants prevent the ground from erosion. Just you call "life" (in narrow sense) the kind of such process bound with cognitive functions. The cognitive functions are probably closely connected to the physical "observer" term, and are the way of the quantum deterministic mechanism.
  4. ru/wiki looks more detailed on this topic https://ru-m-wikipedia-org.translate.goog/wiki/Рыжий_лес?_x_tr_sl=auto&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=ru Also, it anyway was halfly killed with fire in 2020. Imho, FEV likely tries to repair the organism, managing the mutations in the most constructive way. (More or less like the zombie virus in Andrey Cruz novels, criticized on this forum by the people who unlikely had seen any zombie (in literal, not figurative sense of the word)). Thus, in Fallout we can see various ugly but workable mutations, and the ghouls, forced to stay intact. The radiation is what causes the mutations, the FEV is what makes them healthy. Irl we have just the former.
  5. Banned for forgetting Thoractinium.
  6. Here is your water. In form of clathrates. Waitender! Ice dice and mint pint.
  7. Granted. And the KSP binary code is replaced with hieroglyphs, too. Try to run it. I wish, CPU had 3d instructions.
  8. In late 1980s, when I first time heard about both, I actually was thinking that they mean the same person. Now, thirty years later, I see that I was right.
  9. We should remember that in the Fallout universe this is not just radiation causing mutations. They also have FEV. Mostly in special places like Mariposa Base, but also contaminating the whole biosphere. https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Forced_Evolutionary_Virus
  10. It was a way to use Saturn at least for something after they failed the Moon and made Kubrick film everything in Holy Wood.
  11. Have been eaten by the wolves coming from the neighboring forests to the nowolf's land. First years after the event there were a lot of mutant photos from there, but mostly of insects and plants. Which have been replaced by their healthy counterparts from the neighbourhood, too. The humans were evacuated, so were not exposed too long. A very spotty pattern of the pollution, with relatively safe passways and areas, and local hotspots close to each other. Once they happen, they get eaten. As always, the belly rules. Also, as ~100 rem disables the reproductive function iirc for a year or so, and higher or longer doses not just for a year, the most irradiated liquidators unlikely can provide us with children to study.
  12. A crew of three stylists get to the Moon by Apollo, found a studio, and stay there. An Apollo-style mission from the Moon to the Earth and back.
  13. Certainly, yes! Of course, of heading, and of azimuth yes!
  14. Das Unterseeboot U is banned for having no number.
  15. One, sir? Taxi! Return to the assembly building!
