  1. Not the game Dir, the GameData directory
  2. Sounds like an old bug, what version of the game are you playing, and what mods? A log file (Player.log) would help, but there is a solution: I think the mod you need is this:
  3. Odd, because I use this with MechJeb all the time without any problems. Are you running the release version of MechJeb or the dev version? FYI, it helps to ping the author like this: @rextable , it's a way to be sure the post is brought to the author's attention. Also, it would help to reference the earlier posts you are referring to, I have no idea when you posted those messages and am not going to waste my time looking for it. FYI, your log is on google drive, and is inaccessible to me.
  4. As a workaround I found that adding an extra space between the letters seemed to fix it
  5. @zolotiyeruki Would it be ok to use Conformal Decals on the plane, to give it some more life? They don't affect the plane in anyway, just makes it look better
  6. Found a bug, when I tried to select the subtype for the CDL-t, it presented a column of buttons which apparently extended above and below the screen. You need to put it into a scrolling window or do something else. I had to expand the KSP window to a height of 1400 before I could see all of the buttons Another more significant problem is the text decal is acting wierd. These three pictures show the issue. In the SPH, showing the decal as placed on the plane: On the runway: and then back to the SPH: Seems to be caused by the V, when I add another letter after the V, it works
  7. New release, 0.1.10.14 Fixed performance issue in the editor when FocusFollowsMouse was active. The following two problems were fixed: GetComponent was being called on every part EditorActionGroups.Instance.ClearSelection was being called every time through Update() Added global value for FocusFollowsClick or FocusFollowsMouse for all new saves Available here: https://github.com/linuxgurugamer/ClickThroughBlocker/releases/tag/0.1.10.14 Assuming no problems show up, I'll change this into a full release on Monday My thanks to @m4v for mentioning the performance problem to me This is now a full release 10/13/2020 Nothing changed, so you don't need to download anything else
  8. If you aren't too concerned about the placement in the tech tree, I'd say stay with stock, the models and textures are much more modern than KW
  9. I just finished a test: KSP 1.9.1 KW Rocketry 3.2.7.1 Various other mods All mods installed via CKAN Short results: There is nothing wrong, all works as expected. I suspect you are using Steam, and when you delete the mods, you probably aren't aware of various mods and pieces of mods which are left behind, even when you tell Steam to delete the game. Assuming that is so, you need to do the following: Open Steam Right-click on KSP, select Properties Click on tab labeled: Local Files Click on button labeled "Browse Local Files" Delete the entire GameData directory Go back to Steam and click Verify Integrity of Game Files Wait until the verification is done, and then wait while Steam redownloads the missing files. It is strongly recommended that you copy the entire game from the Steam folder to a new folder, and then do your installs/playing from the new folder. Use the Steam install as a Golden Copy You can see the results of the test here:
  10. Still waiting. also, the log file I need is the Player.log, not the KSP.log. See the link in my signature about how to get help.
  11. Russell Kirsch, inventor of the pixel, passes away at 91 The computer scientist credited with inventing the pixel -- the digital dots that have been used to display photos, videos and more on phones and computer screens over the past few decades – has died this week at the age of 91. Russell Kirsch passed away at his home in Portland, Ore., on Tuesday. Kirsch brought pixels into reality in 1957 when he created a small, 2-by-2-inch black-and-white digital image of his son, Walden, as an infant. It was among the first images ever scanned into a computer, using a device created by his research team at the U.S. National Bureau of Standards (now the National Institutes of Science and Technology). The image of Kirsch’s son, according to a Science News article, measured a mere 176 pixels on each side and was just shy of 31,000 pixels in total.
  12. When you quote a post, it would be nice to edit it to make it smaller. Its annoying to first have to scroll through a very long post only to see the exact same thing in the next post
  13. New release, 0.1.10.13 Fixed inputlocks not being cleared when canceling the window Added mode toggle on new button to allow toggling between different modes during the game Updated settings to make it clear if popup will be shown next time in the space center Added code to disable the ShowPopup flag if the focusFollowsClick is changed in the settings Thanks to github user @SteveBenz for this: Make the configuration file not depend on Environment.CurrentDirectory and instead depend on the deployment location of the DLL
  14. Click the thumbs up icon at the lower right of the comment
  15. It's a known bug, no idea why it happens, but only happens while (AFAIK) in sim mode, so it's very low priority
  16. I didnt say not to add it. I said that merging and ending the one I support didn't make sense. In short, both mods have a place.
  17. Having met some of the devs, I feel pretty good about it
  18. Of course. But adding code to support the options will increase the impact on the cou usage. It may be small, but it all adds up
